Spacious Walk-In Closet Blends Efficiency With High Style
Ample lighting and angled, full-length mirrors create an ideal dressing space in this glamorous London walk-in closet. Cabinetry and shelving extend to the ceiling to maximize storage, and customized compartments hold everything from jewelry to boots to hats to dresses. A beaded chandelier adds sparkle to the transitional space.
This spacious walk-in closet has wall-to-wall closets with doors made of glass. Inside these well-organized closets, shirts are hung on racks, organized by color and type. A white dresser to hold jewelry and accessories is positioned along one wall in this closet.
Bags, boots, hats and scarves: Every item has its place in this glamorous custom closet in London. Pullout drawers for accessories and glass-fronted cabinet doors keep items on display and easy to reach. A contemporary carpet adds a graphic punch of style.
This mudroom needed to be expansive enough to accommodate a family of six so the designers included tons of cubbies, a large closet, powder room and even a sink! Rug: Oscar Isberian; Pillow: Jayson Home
Located conveniently just outside the kitchen, this transitional mudroom combines rustic accents with classic contemporary elements. Sturdy, reclaimed wood bins slide out like drawers to provide unique and functional storage. The window seat carves out a nook to let in natural light through a black framed window and offers a spot to sit down and remove shoes or jackets.
This master closet was designed with functionality and luxury in mind. A simple white dresser provides easy storage and the glass top adds some elegance. Small decorations like a lamp, flowers and a framed photograph keep the area from looking too bland.
Wallpaper, Wine Refrigerator Make Laundry Room Something Moore
This laundry room proves you can have a little fun in a typically utilitarian space. Galbraith & Paul's "Lotus" wallpaper adds a fun design touch to the space, and two wine refrigerators offer easy beverage access to the adjacent media room.
This combination bathroom and laundry room offers twice the functionality in one convenient space. White cabinets paired with neutral-colored countertops and bamboo window shades give this transitional-style room a warm ambiance.
An enormous built-in storage unit makes this walk-in closet the best room in the house. A combination of drawers and open shelving offers versatile storage while a small window allows natural light to stream into the space. A white Chippendale chair and flokati rug add style to the already stylish space.
Make use of otherwise wasted vertical space by creating extra storage on the back of a closet, pantry, or mudroom door. Over-the-door hooks or systems can be customized with baskets and racks of different sizes.
A beaded chandelier is like the icing on the cake in this glamorous, efficient and enviable master closet in London. Cabinetry and shelving extend to the ceiling to maximize storage, and customized compartments hold everything from jewelry to boots to hats to dresses, keeping the transitional space organized and efficient.
Designer Courtney Blaymore closely followed her client's wishes by installing a make-up vanity inside this walk-in closet and dressing area. Especially fetching is the lighting around the vanity mirror, which gives an impression of old Hollywood. A ghost vanity chair completes this fabulous look.
Genevieve Gorder designed her dressing area with an elegant chandelier, doors imported from Morocco and plenty of shelves for clothes and shoes. A large mirrored island reflects the light from a sparkling chandelier throughout the plum-colored space, as seen on HGTV's "Genevieve's Renovation."
