Boys' Bedroom With Mural and Custom Homework Nooks
In its original state, the inset areas around the dormers were a waste of space. To give these areas a true purpose, they were transformed into two separate homework nooks complete with custom floating desks. To create the custom desks, first 2X4 lumber and paint-grade plywood were both cut to size, mitered, attached with a nail gun, then sanded and painted.

A tight corner under a vaulted ceiling is the perfect spot for a play corner for the pint-sized family members. Hanging baskets provide a fun spot to stash stuffed animals, while floor cubbies provide more space for corraling toys while still keeping them in-sight and reachable for the small ones.
Bright, textured chairs and a mural make a hangout space the energetic spot it deserves to be for kids and teens. The modern lounge chairs and sofa table have softened and curved edges. This boy's red and white playroom was designed to match his love of LEGO bricks. It includes a red and white striped area rug with matching cornice, a white window seat with cabinet storage, a clear acrylic play table and a creative bundle hanglamp pendant light.
Dream Playroom Features Teepee, Rope Swings and Floor Cushions
Chango and Co. created every child's dream play space in this expansive playroom. Floor mattresses line one wall and are topped with playful throw pillows for crashing, a teepee provides a place for dreaming, and rope swings hang from the ceiling for extra fun. A bold Swiss cross pattern livens up the walls, and black trim highlights the architectural features of the room.
