Mediterranean Entry Hall Features Amazing Glass Floor
A stunning focal point in The Palazzo in Rabat, Malta is the thick glass floor in the entry hall. The 200-year-old mansion underwent a complete renovation to return it to is former glory, while also adding modern architectural achievements to the home.
Through the port cache, the owners can access a passageway that leads into the main house. Two terra cotta planters stand on either side of the arch, with a floor mat in between them to welcome visitors.
The long passage leading from the foyer to the dining room is broken up with a built-in bench that provides extra seating for large dinner parties. The button-tufted cushion is topped with plump damask pillows that complement the pearly wallpaper.

This long entry hallway was dark and foreboding before a remodel. The solution was a large mirror, delightful wall mural and whimsical pendant light fixture that livened up and infused an eclectic vibe into the neutral entryway.
From the moment they enter this corridor, guests will find themselves speaking in hushed whispers. Two statues bearing the likeness of ancient Romans stand guard at the door, granting access only to those they deem worthy of entering the pool.

Sea green walls create a soft frame in the natural light of this staircase hallway. A warm yellow lampshade over the table lamp draws out the yellow coloring of the stain glass trim surrounding the windows. A wood table fills the space and provides support for a simple display to decorate the area.
