Wet Bar With Glass Front Cabinets
Located just off of the kitchen, this wet bar features ample cabinet space, including ones with a glass front that neatly showcase glassware. A marble tile backsplash is arranged in a herringbone pattern to create texture..
A white hutch is a catchall for toys and craft supplies in the country-inspired hallway of HGTV Dream Home 2014. Located just around the corner from the kids' bedroom, the storage space is always within reach but conveniently out of the way. Lined with red wallpaper, the hutch fits in perfectly with the red and white color palette.
In this transitional stairwell, the eye is stimulated by the geometrical woodwork and offset by the hanging art that was once a tool to move air and shoo away the flies in a horse stable. The white railing provides contrast against the gray walls, making the space even more visually appealing.
Moroccan tile transforms an everyday staircase into a beautiful, bohemian display. At the top of the stairs, a woven wall hanging accentuates the well-traveled look and adds a dose of texture to the room.
This curvaceous sunroom features windows all around, showcasing this waterfront home's spectacular views. Soft blue on the ceiling and gauzy white curtains bring whimsy to the space, while brightly colored textiles add an overall fun vibe.
Bright White Staircase Features Cream-Colored Runner, Coastal Art
Wanting these stairs to look as bright as possible, the designers painted the walls white to catch the natural light from the windows. Meanwhile, a tall houseplant stretches from floor to ceiling and draws the eye up to a painting of the ocean -- the latter of which is totally fitting for a home in Montecito, Calif.
In the foyer, the ceiling stretches up over two stories high to create a soaring space. The brown wallpaper in the formal dining room matches the front door and pulls visitors into the rest of the house.
Tall, Open Multi-Floor Foyer With Decorative Chandelier and Wood Columns Lining the Staircase
A low angle photo accentuates the beautiful shapes in this open, bright foyer. A decorative crystal chandelier hangs down over the beginning of the staircase. The stairs turn and travel up lined with wood columns and handrail. A dark painted ceiling section adds depth to the design and compliments the gray walls of the first floor.
Home's Entry With Orb Crystal Chandelier & Inlaid Hardwood Floor
The entryway opens up to the living room on one side and the dining area on the other. The intricate front door is influenced by the home's Mediterranean design, and an orb crystal chandelier dangles above the inlaid gray hardwood floor with a herringbone design.
The corner of the dining room was outfitted with custom cabinetry and a spot for entertaining. In addition to the concealed wine rack, the wet bar boasts a fully-integrated dishwasher and garbage disposal.
