Impactful Entry with Chevron Floor
This entryway offers a dramatic and memorable welcome. Stunning chevron flooring, textured wallpaper and a mod oversized light fixture really make a meaningful impact. A signature statement of designer Susan Jamieson is to paint handrails in a bold high gloss black that adds a graphic punch and works with so many styles.
Creating a welcoming first impression is this open and bright entryway. A floral-printed rug adds a touch of color to the space, and a simple wooden bench is the perfect spot to slip on shoes before heading out for the day.
A large animal hide rug leads visitors into this contemporary entryway, setting the groundwork for this home's unique, personal design. A steel gray accent wall calls attention to interesting objects on display, while a long bench topped by a striking modern painting continue the bohemian vibe.
Contemporary Entryway Features Bright Orange Accents
Bright orange accents add pizzazz to this contemporary foyer. A vintage fiberglass table centers the room, and a stunning crystal chandelier hangs above. On one side of the space, a wallcovering with gray polka dots and orange damask stretches from the wall to the ceiling. A vintage orange bicycle and a large self-portrait complete the snazzy design.
Upon entering this home, guest are greeted by a lovely gray door and an elegant modern dresser. This dresser shows off some of the local fare the family has gathered over the years and asked designers to incorporate into their new space. To make the space feel unique, designers added a speckled wallpaper and white mirror to bring the bright, Caribbean light into the space.
Eclectic Foyer Features Eastern Accents & Spiral Staircase
Oversized candles on a contrasting table, Eastern influenced pendant lighting, striking wood floors, a spiral staircase and decorative wool rug create an exciting entry point to this home demonstrating how the foyer – a most often forgotten home component – can create a great first impression.
The home's entrance is integrated into the same floor level as the office, and a small window from the office is the only visual contact with the front street. The concrete slab foundation is left visible, lending a cool, industrial vibe to the space.
Make a statement in the entry with paint colors, furnishings and accents that are a sneak peek of what's featured throughout the house. Here, the gold and white combo of the lamp, ceiling and stools are deliciously fresh against charcoal gray walls.
Masculine Foyer with Dark Color Scheme and Faux Taxidermy
Faux taxidermy adds a whimsical touch to the foyer of this traditional Brooklyn townhouse. Dark stain on moldings and doors complement the traditional architecture, and soft gray walls carry through to the home's interior.
A wide front door opens to a soft gray entryway accented by a colorful rug and matching tufted benches upholstered in a soft rose hue. Archways and traditional moldings carry throughout the space, adding architectural interest and traditional flair.
Wood French doors invite guests inside this beautiful foyer. A large chandelier gives off a warm glow above a rug with gray and purple tones. A tufted purple bench pulls out the violet hue from the rug for an elegant and subtle accent color.
Large Entryway With Wood Farmhouse Door and Hall Tree
This spacious entryway features a stained wood farmhouse door beneath a row of upper windows and flanked by wide sidelights. A hall tree sits next to the door near a gray Oriental rug that covers the hardwood floor.
Contemporary Landscape Art Defines Living Room Entryway
Sublime sophistication perfectly describes this living room designed by Ana Donohue. For the entryway, Donohue chose unexpected pieces that all work together to anchor the space. A muted canvas hung casually atop a console table with wooden tusks indicates a strong but delicate sensibility that is carried throughout the rest of the space.
