When creating a space that will really transport you, always remember that it’s the little details that count the most. The colors, textures and aesthetics of these little vases and statues help to complete the story that the space is telling. Many of the pieces have been collected during the designer’s travels.
A large, woven sectional is shaded by a built-in umbrella, creating a restful spot to relax in this zen-like Los Angeles backyard. Tall plants screen the seating area and soften the lines of the tall privacy fence. Succulent plantings embrace the southern California climate.

Convenient Kitchen Office With Fun Turquoise and White Wallpaper
This modern office nook is located in a light and bright section of the home's kitchen. A floating white cabinet is positioned above the matching desk, while a brass lamp sits atop the desk to match the cabinet's hardware. A white chair provides a comfortable spot for working.
A great spot for adults and kids alike, this stylish dining room includes a table with a high lacquer finish to ward off stains, durable leather on the chairs and acrylic backs to stave off grubby hand prints. To balance out the look, the designer chose a funky but elegant chandelier that could equally be at home in a posh nightclub as it is a formal parlor room.
To create a unique bedroom for this St. Barts home, designers started with a neutral wall color to reflect the natural light of the Caribbean sun, then, they added teal carpet with a geometric pattern to create visual interest in this unique space. To complement the design, blue accents, silver table lamps and gray Roman Shades were added, along with modern nightstands and a modern light fixture to finish off the space.
Stylish Home Office With Modern Desk and Striped Rug
Natural light illuminates this home office with pink, blue and gray color accents. A striped area rug is positioned underneath the wood and metal desk, while a gray chair is positioned behind it. A pink vase and blue table lamp decorate the desk, while a nearby gray and white striped armchair provides a spot to relax.
The modern aesthetic carries into this powder room via elements like a floating natural wood vanity, white mirror and tile accent wall. The cantilevered vanity also makes the bathroom feel more spacious by freeing up floor space.
Gorgeous Open-Plan Family Room From Sarah Sees Potential
As seen on season 1 of Sarah Sees Potential, a cinder block wall was removed to create this open and bright basement entertainment area. Sarah highlighted the home's original gray stone fireplace with rustic-modern furnishings in chic blues, grays and rich cherry browns. Plenty of seating and storage allow this room to be used for movie nights, casual dinners or sleepovers for the clients' two young boys.
Living Room With Bay Window and Orange Velvet Sofa
The inspiration for the living room came from the classic, Victorian architecture and bay windows that faced the street. A custom light fixture made of blue glass can be seen from the sidewalk. The sofa was a vintage find that was re-upholstered in a velvet orange fabric. A highlight for this room is the custom designed fireplace made out of hot-rolled steel.
