The massive main kitchen (there are two in the apartment) designed by Boffi utilizes stainless steel, Corian (including on the walls) and slab stone construction with double stoves and double ovens, two refrigerators, three sinks and three dishwashers.
Three-dimensional wall art goes a long way if you’re working with lots of blank space, and the plush variety is so fitting for a nursery. To achieve a more playful feel, mount a stuffed animal head above your crib. Thanks to the internet, you can find just about any animal you’d want – from a deer to a flamingo to a unicorn. For a more modern look, mount a plush geometric shape, like the edgy, black-and-white rain cloud here. Or, do both, like designer and stylist Live Loud Girl. You really can’t go wrong when it comes to fun, pillowy wall art.

Modern Black and White Bathroom With Yellow Interior of Vanity Drawers
Add an unexpected splash of color to the inside of your vanity, dresser or nightstand drawers by painting them a bold hue, like this shade of vibrant yellow. The bright, citrusy color brings an unexpected energy to the black and white room. Small black and white tile creates a modern, digital look on the floor below the square sink.
Open Plan, Modern Kitchen in Black, White and Gray Hues
This streamlined, open plan kitchen, designed by Angelica Henry, shows the dramatic side to modern design. The black laminate cabinetry and the stainless steel appliances and accents marry well with the linear elements in the room, such as the lighting arrangement and long, angular countertops, to give the space a lean, industrial and high-tech look.
A polished concrete floor fits perfectly in the long, open design of this space. The sleek white cabinetry keeps the kitchen area looking light even when the natural lighting doesn't reach the end of the long room. A row of black teardrop pendant lights adds a beautiful, smooth shape to the sharp lines of the kitchen island.
In the hallway, Ginger filled woven baskets and wood crates with found objects like pine cones, wooden beads and black packages to connect the design in this space to that in her living room. Then, she hung a Chrstmas banner and set out a Christmas pillow to complete the vision.
Black and White, Modern Christmas Living Room Design
Throughout her space, designer Ginger Curtis puts a modern, black and white twist on traditional Christmas decorations. Using her home's contrasting black and white color palette as a base line for her design, Ginger added white stockings monogrammed with her family's initials and other Christmas decorations like the Christmas wreath and the Cypress tree in the corner of the living room instead of a traditional Christmas tree.
In this modern bathroom, a clean geometric tub pairs with a rich black rug to create a formal and sophisticated space. The ombre curtains and upholstered armchair help soften the stark contrast, thus creating a look that's elegant and inviting.
