To create the bright space the homeowners wanted, designers needed to take advantage of the natural light that issued through the French doors and windows opposite the table, so they opted for a soft, yellow color to anchor the space and reflect the light. Then, they chose a bright green fabric for the wraparound bench seating to add even more brightness. To finish the design, bold throw pillows were added, tying the space together.
