Minimalist Dining Room With Cowhide Rug
A mix of vintage and new furnishings with midcentury lines make for an inviting, minimalist dining area in the open plan space.
The Danish wood chairs were a flea market find with dismal pad fabric. Seeing past the dirty florals to the fine sculptural lines, designer Natalie Myers and her team snatched them up. Four new pads with blue pads were made and the chairs look like a million bucks.
Contemporary, Organic Living Space is Full of Light
Vaulted exposed wood beams are paired with three massive pendant lights to bring the 17-foot-high ceilings down and create a cozier environment. Simple yet comfortable furniture surrounds an oversized gray coffee table, while neutral floor poufs provide extra seating when needed.
Matching batik armchairs are flea market finds that add a collected, bohemian look. Ladder shelves fill in a large blank wall with sculptural, thrifted finds that inject whimsy and personality into this space.
Bright, Eclectic Living Room With Exposed Ceiling Beams
A sofa draped in white blankets matches the bright white look of the walls and ceiling in this small and stylish living room. The black floor is a lovely, bold contrast. A striped runner follows the flow of the floor and aims toward a leaning ladder adorned with textiles. A gorgeous shell chandelier adds a unique detail, while plants add vibrant, natural color.
White And Blue Bohemian Coastal Living Room With Fireplace
Crisp white walls replace busy wood paneling for a refreshing, more modern look. Various types of seating, including a corner window seat, create an eclectic, cozy, comfy area for entertaining or relaxing with family. A ceiling-height wall niche houses stacked firewood, serving as both a practical and aesthetic element.
Using the neutral sofa and coffee table as a base, the owner can easily switch out pillows, chairs and other accents to make the living room look brand new. A terra cotta vase with branches adds a natural touch to the space that complements the woven area rug below.
The chandelier is easily the star of the space, with a natural texture that feels wonderfully boho-chic. A vintage table and six wicker chairs complement the laid-back look and invite the whole family to gather for breakfast.
Rattan chairs with gathered string warm up this sitting area, bringing in natural texture and earthy tones. The neutral colors create a relaxing spot to unwind and watch the sun set through the large windows.
Contemporary Living Room With Southwestern Influence Featuring Leather Sectional and Macrame Art
The view into the living room area displays the white on white texture of unbleached macrame fiber art on the white ship lap. The coffee table is a DIY - a broken clock face transformed into a live edge table with hair pin legs. A tall floor lamp arches over the large brown leather sectional.
Light and Airy Eclectic Living Room With Feminine Style
Designer Emily Henderson plays into her love of eclectic styling by mixing various patterns, furnishings and accessories to create a light and airy living room with feminine charm. For more casual appeal, she added some oversized patterned throw pillows by the sofa. They're perfect for floor lounging, gathering 'round the coffee table and other cozy cushioning. Plus, they're an additional visual accent against the stark, white sofa and hardwood floors.
The homeowners crave natural light and the large unadorned windows are a favorite feature, so they skipped the heavy window treatments and let the light shine in. With all white walls this can create a gorgeous, atmospheric glow.
A starburst light fixture, fluffy white armchair and golden wall treatment put a glamorous spin on the traditional home office. Because their desk faces the window, the owners can enjoy natural light and mountain views while they work.
To break up the long living space, two separate seating areas are created. Each space is defined by a traditional area rug, beaded chandelier, marble-topped coffee table and comfortable yet sophisticated furniture. Gleaming metallic exposed beams add a touch of glamour, and the fireplace remains a chic focal point of the space.
A patterned cement tile fireplace is surrounded by built-in bookcases that display the homeowners' favorite books and accessories. The heather gray chaise pairs with navy armchairs and a gold coffee table for a comfortable living area.
Cozy, Contemporary Living Room With Brown Leather Chairs
The gray velvet English roll-arm sofa pairs with two distressed leather armchairs for a comfortable eclectic living space. Exposed black ceiling beams brings in architectural detail, while the flokati area rug adds texture and grounds the room.
