White, Midcentury Modern Buffet in Eclectic-Midcentury Modern Dining Room
To make entertaining simpler, designers brought in a white buffet with a Midcentury Modern design and stylish brass and crystal door handles, adding an elegant, Midcentury Modern touch to this dining room design.
Multicolored Midcentury Living Room With Gallery Wall
An eclectic grouping of artwork creates a colorful gallery wall in this midcentury living room and also pairs nicely with the rug. Neutral and wood furnishings help ground the space and prevent the design from feeling too busy.
Contemporary Buffet in Eclectic, Colorful Living Room
Flanked by multi-colored floral curtains, a wooden buffet with contemporary carvings provides plenty of storage for this eclectic living room. Bright blue table lamps are paired with Asian-inspired accessories and peacock art prints for a stylish vignette.
The living room makeover includes a more modern slate tile for the fireplace and a cedar-beam mantle with TV mounted above. A comfy overstuffed sectional in pale blue and woven jute rug help bring beachy accents to the casually modern space.
Mid-century Modern Living Room Neutral Hardwood Floors
As seen on Home Town, the Walker's Laurel, MS existing living room was cold and uninviting with a dark stain on the existing wood floor and a solid entry door allowing minimal light into the large open space. After the renovations, their Laurel, MS living room now gives the feeling of being wide open and flows nicely from the full glass entry door into the living and dining areas. The living room features the original refinished hardwood floor, new curtains, and blind, updated furnishings and custom art designed by Mia's younger son Bryce. Host Erin Napier said the floors had to be sanded three times to get the old dark stain completely removed to allow the natural color of the wood to show again.
This work space area offers a place for the Fuchs children to do their homework on the floating desk suspended by steel cables. Before the renovation, this area was the kitchen, as seen on Fixer Upper.
There will not be a shortage of conversation around this fabulous dining table. From fun colors to exquisite details this room carries a theme all it's own and does it amazingly. This eclectic dining room features blue walls, traditional white arm chairs upholstered in turquoise blue and white stripes, and a round glass top dining table with orange legs. An upholstered bench with orange pillows and a large multi-sided mirror add to the room.
Instead of a side table that stands on four legs, this one hangs from the ceiling. Inside is a niche for books and magazines. Designers used a rich blue wainscoting as a springboard for more layers of color and pattern.
Blissfully unafraid of color, this bachelor pad living room sings out with energy and life thanks to lemon yellow curtains (that reach floor to ceiling, no less), sky blue armchairs and a zippy black-and-white rug.
