A vintage yacht-inspired bar with beadboard, louvered paneling and outrigger brackets evokes a 1930s nautical feel and is the centerpiece of the great room. Exposed wood beams bring architectural detail to the ceiling, while reclaimed elm adds rustic style to the floor.

The home's open concept living area is at the center of the layout, with two master bedrooms on either side. Two sleeping lofts sit atop those bedrooms. And for easy outdoor access, a waterfront porch stretches along the back of the house.

Views of the living room and beyond can be enjoyed from the landing on the stairs to the upper level. "The furniture compliments the view and it recedes so the two can live harmoniously without fighting," says project interior designer Brain Patrick Flynn.
