Taking inspiration from Pantone's colors of the year, rose and gray-blue tones create a calming atmosphere in this dining room. An antique Italian marble chandelier and mirrored dining table amp up the glam factor.
In this stylish and contemporary space made over on HGTV's Brother Vs. Brother, gray and silver living and dining room looks sleek and elegant in this open layout space. Plush orange chairs surround the simple wooden dining table for a pop of unexpected color.
This living room wins the day when it comes to cozy with its expansive, built-in bookshelves, fireplace and unique doorway. For the doorway, designers created a paneled white oak vestibule in a classic barn shape to transition from the dining room into the living room. So many skylights open the space to the outdoors.

Meanwhile, wood and brass accents add warmth to the space. The designers planned to space to be both modern and bold with carefully placed pops of color to liven up the otherwise neutral design.

Claire Paquin designed this walk-out basement family room to be functional for all family members: "adult" space for relaxation and "kid" space for play. The brown leather sectional provides comfortable seating, and the colorful art and area rug create a fun environment for all.
Dark Dining Room With Blurred Wall Look, Decorative Black Molding Ceiling and Large Circular Dining Table
A blurred wall look and running horses add the illusion of movement to this attractive dining room design. A large wood, circular dining table is centered in the room surrounded by chairs with alternating solid red and plaid upholstery. A crystal chandelier hangs above encircled by the black molding ceiling design.
A pale gray coat of paint and new furnishings make this sitting room look fresh and contemporary. The bold orange artwork adds a bright and cheery pop of color. Unique accent chairs join together for a unified settee or stand apart for individual seating.
This young family needed a sophisticated and kid-friendly home. A cohesive color palette of grays, taupe and ivory are punctuated with bold persimmon accents. The living room furniture is comfortable, while a custom storage ottoman easily hides toys during adult gatherings.
A bi-level water feature rests beside this modern outdoor dining space, creating a beautiful vignette and connecting the home to the creek that runs beside it. A slatted wood roof covers the patio without blocking the verdant view.
The library includes deck mounted solar powered skylights with light-filtering single pleated blinds that bring fresh air and natural light into the space, that can be controlled through a smartphone app.
Library Features Gold Ceiling & Blood Orange Chairs
The metallic ceiling in this magnificent home library was inspired by a Parisian hotel where the family once vacationed. The ceiling subtly adds bold texture to the space — it's eye-catching but just out of sightline, so it doesn't overwhelm the design. Blood orange chairs and artwork bring vibrant color to the room.
