The existing carpet was removed and natural hardwood floors were installed, in addition to a mustard yellow area rug and stainless steel dining table. Vignettes Add Symmetry to Eclectic-Midcentury Modern Design
To add symmetry to the Eclectic-Modern living room, designers placed identical vignettes on either side of the fireplace. These vignettes are made up of clear, modern desks and stylish, Midcentury Modern stools. These features give the living room a dual purpose as an office. To help add a little dimension and height to the areas, artwork was added to the walls, finishing off the design.
