Multicolored Eclectic Living Room With Purple Sofa
The purple sofa in this living room already belonged to the family; designers used an eclectic mix of colors and patterns throughout the rest of the room to incorporate the bold piece and make a cohesive look.
Why settle for one amazing living room when you can have two? Taking full advantage of his home’s layout, Rayman created this second living area to showcase his love of color. Here he takes the tightly condensed color and pattern of the living area at the front of the space and stretches it out across the rug, pillows and art of this larger room. At the center of it all is a stunning bookcase, a tribute to the designer’s favorite color. Drawing on his expertise and connections, he had the unit custom built in small sections so that they could be assembled quickly once in place.
This eclectic living room boasts colorful style, from the orange drapes to the metallic front dresser with collectables on top. Multicolored throw pillows line the green sofa beneath a full gallery wall.
Eclectic Living Room With Mustard Yellow Sofa, Patterned Wall Tapestry and Mixed Decorative Throw Pillows
A gorgeous wall tapestry featuring fuchsia and burgundy flowers sets a colorful backdrop for the mix of patterns and rich hues in this eclectic living room. A mustard yellow sofa is decorated with a collection of throw pillows. A pair of chairs with deep red cushions surround a clear coffee table over the faded rug.
Bold colors are used to create a fun, eclectic dining room in this Carrolton, Ga., farmhouse. A beaded turquoise chandelier takes centerstage, while a rustic table is paired with black ladderback chairs for a little country style.
In the open plan space, a living area that easily seats eight adds another colorful note to this interior. The mix of styles is engaging. A large farmhouse table sets the scene. Dining chairs have been upholstered in an eye-catching striped pattern, in a color that mirrors the home’s bookcase. To top it off, a beautiful flea market-sourced chandelier adds a vintage touch to the space.
These stunning chairs with custom faux bois upholstery designed by Julianne Taylor are, unfortunately, no longer in production. But they perfectly suit Taylor's Asian-influenced and color-infused living room.
A mix of styles, patterns, art and natural pieces adorn this eclectic dining room from designer Julia Buckingham Edelman. The upholstered bench in a black and white pattern is an eye-catching highlight of the dining room.
Spacious Living Area With Vaulted Exposed Beam Ceilings
Natural light illuminates this eclectic open concept living space with vaulted exposed beam ceilings and several sitting areas. Colorful accents, like two yellow plaid chaise lounges, multicolored pillows and table lamps, add lively touches, while a white stone fireplace and elegant chandeliers finish the look of the space.
