This eclectic dining room was designed by HGTV Star contestants Brooks Atwood and Tiffany Brooks during HGTV Star season 8. A dining table with chunky columnar legs makes a big impact in the small apartment space.
This living room is alive with color and energy. Blue and white stripe walls, blue floral curtains, brown and blue diamond fabric on the chairs and a blue and white graphic rug contrast with a pink sideboard and warm wood chairs. The orange canvas adds a warm pop to the room.
The eclectic design of this charming home extends even to the front door: it's a cheerful pink! Enter the house into the living room where an inspired mix of furniture and black-and-white striped shades wait to welcome you.
A floor-to-ceiling built-in desk makes for a bold statement in bright blue. Open shelves provide much-needed storage, while an orange shade brings a striking contrast to the room. A comfortable purple desk chair adds an additional jolt of color.
This cozy family room mixes soft neutrals, clean whites and splashes of blue. A classic fireplace is highlighted by bright blue wallpaper, and the beadboard behind the built-ins is painted blue, allowing the accessories and books to really stand out. Neutral sofas pair with a trunk-inspired coffee table, while a gray shag rug grounds the space.
Red stadium seats are an interesting addition to this eclectic dining room, which also features a stylish light pendant and teal dining chairs. Light blue walls provide a lovely background for one colorful piece of artwork.
Color galore! The blues of the ocean and greens of grass make this eclectic kidtastic living room come alive. Vibrant modern art and boldly printed rug create a whimsical space. The comfy sofa is chock-full of patterned pillows that can change with the seasons.
Bright Blue Library Pairs Tufted Sofa, Zebra-Print Rug
Turning right off the foyer leads guests into the owners' personal library. Wanting this space to feel carefully curated -- as though all the odds and ends were collected from travels abroad -- the designers combined a tufted sofa, traditional side table, floral armchair and a zebra-print rug. Walls painted bright blue help showcase the traditional wainscoting.
Eclectic Home Office with Blue and White Floral Wallpaper
This bold home office uses unexpected pairings –– like blue and white floral wallpaper with a busy brown patterned carpet –– to create a stylish, lively space. A rust orange side table with matching stools and a pair of white bird lamps completes the look of this fun office nook.
To give the open space just off the entry a purpose, yet keep the center of the area open for traffic flow in and out of this apartment, two pairs of ready-made bookshelves purchased from an office supply store were placed back-to-back to act as room dividers. On one side, a private office is separated from the formal dining space and family room on the other side. The apartment's walls were painted peacock blue, which helps the walls recede so that accents of white and apple green stand out.
