Dark Stained Farmhouse Table in Country Dining Room
As seen on Love It or List It, this beautiful, dark stained farmhouse table is the center of attention in this dining room. The light color in the space is accented by the natural light coming in through the window bank, while the antique silver serving trays give the space a vintage feel.
The architect created a tall, grand space for the living room. Splashes of color in the furnishings and accessories work well with the neutral palette. The use of the reclaimed beams truly showed off the artistry of the builder, Ron. Knowing that the reclaimed beams would be a focal point, designer Kristina Crestin brought in a dark door and window sashes to add a bit more dimension.
A leather couch and armchair divide the casual living space from a formal sitting area behind it. The wicker coffee table adds tactile texture and a natural element to this living area. Patterned throw pillows compliment the marigold yellow curtain panels.
With dark brown walls, plaid wallpaper and lots of natural wood and leather, this home theater evokes a masculine vibe. Wall sconces add low levels of light, and a built-in entertainment center keeps electronics hidden away.
