Midcentury Modern Dining Room With Glass-Topped Dining Table
This Midcentury Modern dining room features a custom, 130-inch glass top dining table that is supported by three acrylic and brass bases and seats twelve in black, mohair dining chairs. On the ceiling, designers installed a set of suspended chrome and glass balls that are used as a modern light fixture and complement the silver metallic cork wallpaper that offers rich texture to the open dining room.
French modern leather club chairs sit side by side in this intimate art deco study. Fine accessories and art are encased in a Berkowitz-designed Madagascar ebony and black lacquer built-in. The X-style mullions on the glass doors complement the inlaid black X design on the lower cabinet doors, while the custom velvet ottoman and area rug anchor the seating area.
The living room of Drew Scott and fiancé Linda Phan’s newly renovated home in Los Angeles, where the new fireplace mirrors the original one, as seen on Property Brothers at Home: Drew’s Honeymoon House.
The centerpiece of the renovation, the living room and other living front-and-center spaces on the first floor, is a blend of old and new elements and represents the perfect melding of Drew and Linda's individual styles.
The floor of this boutique is a herringbone pattern tile that looks like wood to brighten up the space and pairs well with the fuchsia chairs. The jewelry display unit has panels of antique glass and brass framed shelves to coordinate with the custom clothing rack design
Neutral Living Room With Patterned Wallpaper and Fur Throw
Texture plays a key role in this elegant, neutral living room. Subtly patterned wallpaper, a chunky fur throw and shapely accessories offer visual depth where the color palette is minimal. Artwork adds a hint of color.
