Geometric Backsplash Surrounds Kitchen Sink
Instead of traditional subway tile, TerraCotta Design Build chose an unexpected, slightly geometric backsplash for the kitchen. With its hexagonal shape, this tile adds serious visual interest to the sink.
This galley kitchen in Decatur, Ga., was designed to be a functional yet stylish space that allows for effortless cooking and entertaining. Thus, the room features a deep sink and stainless appliances, gorgeous green cabinets and a wood dining table that seats six.
Stainless Oven, Range Hood Increase Kitchen's Functionality
Those cabinets are just as functional as they are stylish, offering storage and keeping the counters clutter-free. Between them sits a sleek oven and range hood, which add to the kitchen's functionality.
Vertical lighting in the Mission style cabinets make it easy for homeowners to see what they need. The corner space location creates more storage for larger dishes while varying the heights of the cabinets keeps the eye moving for maximum visual impact.
Transitional Cream Kitchen With Antique Wheeled Cart as Island
One of the most useful and creative designs of this open plan kitchen is the center island that syncs, back-to-back, new custom cabinetry with an antique wheeled cart. This allows the cook more elbow room on which to work and guests to relax at barstools while watching all the action taking place. The design also incorporates an industrial feel to this transitional-styled kitchen for an eclectic touch.
Neutral Transitional Chef Kitchen With Black Pendants
So many special details make this large kitchen fit for a chef: Pull-out utensil holders and spice and oil cabinets flank the cooktop as well as a pewter countertop insert to hold hot items. The left side of the sink wall is the sandwich-making zone which includes a bread drawer, hidden toaster and a cabinet for appliances.
Transitional Neutral Kitchen With Light Gray Cabinetry
This spacious transitional kitchen features beautiful gray cabinetry and a large gray and white island. The crisp lines and angles of the ultra modern bar stools add edgy pizzazz to the otherwise soothing space.
Because this kitchen is so open, the owners can cook dinner and still converse with loved ones in the other room. Three glass pendant lights hang over the island and ensure that the space is bright for meal-prep and conversation.
Two bold patterns and a pop of turquoise turn this neutral kitchen into a stylish, memorable space: Wide turquoise-and-white stripes sweep across the ceiling and the barstools are upholstered in black-and-white plaid.
Light Wood Island With Red Barstools in Transitional Kitchen
Black stone countertops pair with dark wood cabinets and shelves, creating contrast against the light wood floors and island in this transitional kitchen. Bold red barstools and stainless steel appliances complete the stylish look.
Transitional Eat-In Kitchen Features Copper Marble Countertops and Colorful Pendant Lights
Stylish white cabinets with a matching range hood line the wall in the open design of this eat-in kitchen. A decorative neutral and brown tile backsplash matches the hues in the copper-colored marble countertops. The water color look on the green, yellow and blue pendant lights adds life and color to the space.
A large center island provides the perfect spot to eat in this gourmet kitchen. The stacked stone range hood brings a rustic quality to the space, while sleek black cabinets paired with neutral countertops create a warm, contemporary style.
