Modern, White, Eat-in Kitchen with Expansive Counter Space and White Table and Chairs
Designing a room that's mostly or all white ensures you'll have a room that always feels streamlined and clutter-free. This modern eat-in kitchen features expansive counter space, hardwood floors and a cozy round kitchen table for four. The landscape just out the large sliding glass door brings nature and color into the room.
Bright white shiplap paneling cleans up the walls in the kitchen and matches the base of the island. Over the island, pendants get a coat of customized light blue paint, softening their industrial edge.
Windows and sliding glass doors allow plenty of natural light in this beautiful kitchen, highlighting the crisp white cabinets and light wood walls for a bright, breezy atmosphere. Black countertops and shelves provide striking contrast in the light-hued space.
Throughout this home, designers aimed for a look that was farmhouse friendly, but more polished than rustic. The open plan kitchen uses shades of blue to contrast the white and wood elements: navy barstools and a custom gray-blue for the pendants.
For this warm, Moroccan inspired kitchen, all of the cabinets were custom made and lacquered white. To add visual interest to the design, custom panels of hand scraped White Oak laid out in a chevron pattern cover the refrigerator and freezer. Finally, un-lacquered brass appliance pulls, drawer pulls and cabinet hardware to finish the design.
This California kitchen features an earthy palette made up of natural elements that add texture and interest. A long, paneled wall offers open and closed storage and gives a nod to the home's mid-century modern architecture. A stone fireplace wraps around to service both the kitchen and living area. The design team removed a wall to open up the kitchen, adding this center island with a quartz waterfall-edge countertop.
