White Transitional Kitchen with Classic & Modern Touches
This Victorian home features a fully updated kitchen sprinkled with both modern and classic touches. The design team expanded the space to make room for a mudroom, in the process opening it up to a flood of natural light. The large island, painted a contrast color to create a focal point, anchors the mostly white room.
White Transitional Kitchen With Stainless Steel Island Countertop
White Shaker cabinets and white quartz countertops give this open kitchen a clean, bright and airy feel. The stainless steel island countertop is a sturdy, easily-maintained surface that's perfect for this prep and eat-in area. Chrome bar stools with glass seats add a minimal modern look and keep with the airy design.
Silver and glass accents lighten the feel of the kitchen, giving upper cabinets an airy look that's carried deeper into the room via the bubble pendants. The barstools' metal trim is a surprisingly glam touch.
Bright Open Plan Kitchen With White Cabinets and Red Metal Stools
This open plan kitchen features a spacious kitchen island with brown wood cabinets and a white stone countertop. Red and gray metal stools provide countertop dining, while overhead pendant lights and recessed lighting illuminate the space. A gray mosaic tile backsplash and hardwood floors add finishing touches.
Eat-In Kitchen With Dark Wood Cabinets and Exposed Beams
A round dining room table is flanked by four chairs and positioned on top of a large, circular rug in this open dining area. Wood ceiling beams complement the dark wood cabinetry and floors, while a light-colored backsplash and dining chairs break up the dark palette.
The unique challenge to the designers of this kitchen was to create an efficient, high-style room that would tuck into a corner space. To accomplish that, the range and hood became the kitchen's focal point and innovative customizations were used like a triangular island.
A long rustic table is surrounded by comfortable armchairs and cheetah-print dining chairs. To make the breakfast area more family friendly, Sunbrella fabric is used since it's durable and easy to clean. The open floor plan kitchen features bright white cabinets, gray tile backsplash and upholstered barstools perfect for casual dining.
Form follows function in the HGTV Green Home 2010 kitchen, where a tower support column that bears 18,000 pounds of weight is incorporated into the kitchen design on top of the island's ruby red CaesarStone natural quartz countertop.
White Transitional Open Kitchen With Metal Pendants
What could be a cramped galley kitchen now feels so light and big thanks to an open concept design and a white color scheme. Hardwood floors and a row of silvery pendants help lead the eye across the room and out the windows.
