Blue and White Kitchen With Rug
In this townhouse renovation, a more efficient kitchen with updated appliances and wider work surfaces was a
must. A Spanish-style tile backsplash does the double trick of punching up the white cabinets and making the ceiling feel even higher.
Light blue walls and ceiling in this spacious kitchen transition beautifully into the adjacent dining room, which is painted the same color. A large blue island with a white quartz countertop features a built-in sink and hidden dishwasher for easy clean-up after meals.
Removing a wall between the dining room and living room not only gave new life to the space, it facilitated a structural reconfiguration that functionally and visually redefined spaces. Dark hardwood floor blends seamlessly throughout all three rooms, while the open floor plan now creates a space that ideal for family to gather as well as for entertaining.
In this lovely transitional kitchen, style works hand in hand with functionality. Transom cabinets provide extra storage and visual interest, with their interior lighting and frosted glass doors. A slate blue island adds a hit of color as well as a much-needed work space.
This spacious kitchen features all-over ivory cabinets paired with a dark brown wood kitchen island and teal stone countertops. Other teal accents include the mosaic backsplash and floral rugs. Two chandeliers hang from a coffered ceiling, creating a glamorous finishing touch.
This home's original 90s modern look was reworked to be more of a minimalist, contemporary design. Panels of bold blue and white are tempered by the warm wood details. A sculptural brass chandelier lights things from overhead.
This kitchen is perfect for multiple cooks or having company while you cook! Plenty of cabinetry and display shelves as well as countertop space. The blue and white color palette gives a peaceful, relaxing vibe which every kitchen needs.
Neutral, Moroccan Inspired Kitchen and Dining Room
Designers wanted to create a space that is open, light and airy so that this home's young family could eat, work and play comfortably together, so they started with a neutral color palette and plenty of natural light. Then, they added plenty of warm details, such as the custom table, exposed beams, brass fixtures and French Oak floors and bright blue accents for a splash of color, creating the perfect, Moroccan inspired space for this family.
Blue and White Transitional Kitchen With Gold Pendants
This charming kitchen sparkles with pretty color pairings (love the pinks and reds of the rug and the blue-gray cabinets) pulled together by a trio of gold pendants above the island. Clean-lined barstools are the perfect friendly and so-stylish finishing touch.
The kitchen opens easily to the rest of the house with an island (in fun blue and white) as a subtle boundary between spaces. Lots of natural light and a simple, airy approach make the room an appealing one to hang out in.
A cheery blue paint adds life to a kitchen lacking natural light. Translucent cabinets line the kitchen area of the room creating visual depth, while a glass dining table sits neatly in the corner of the dining area.
