Blue globe pendant lights bring a pop of color to this bright kitchen. Large light gray tiles create a sleek backsplash that compliments the gray countertop. White cabinets catch the light keeping the room bright and airy. Stainless steel appliances fit the modern feel of the design.
The designers removed a wall to open up this modern kitchen and reveal a sweeping architectural window. The renovation included an island topped with sleek, white Caesarstone quartz. White oak cabinets and wood floors bring an organic, earthy element to the space.
This spacious, modern kitchen features bright white walls, flooring and cabinetry to make it feel clean and airy. Brown accents found in the chairs, buffet and kitchen island offer much needed contrast to the design.
Designer Tyler Karu added a bright paint stripe on the brick wall so that the exposed brick doesn't feel too overwhelming. The rustic mirror is from Portland Architectural Salvage, and he chose a marble subway tile from Home Depot for the backsplash.
Alabrije Collection of Statues Adds Pops of Color to Neutral Background
The background of this chef's kitchen was kept visually interesting but neutral in color. This allows for the vibrant Alabrije collection of statues from Oaxaca, Mexico to be celebrated to the fullest, added pops of color throughout the space.
Modern Kitchen With Wall Wine Rack and Shark Skelton Decor
This spacious kitchen features an industrial vibe with painted exposed pipes and a wall to wall wine rack made from terra cotta pipes. Oversized white subway tiles create a countertop-to-ceiling backsplash, while light oak floors cover the floor. A shark skeleton floating over the dining table adds a funky vibe.
The kitchen forms the heart of the apartment, offering ample seating, a large countertop surface, bright lighting and an open format. The kitchen was completely reconfigured from the original layout: walls were knocked down, cabinets were relocated and new ones custom-made, and state-of-the-art appliances were installed. Everything was kept white and glossy to maximize natural and artificial light.
