White Kitchen With Copper Pots
Cooking is centered on one side of this simple, pretty kitchen with the stove and storage for cooking supplies. The other side is dedicated to cleaning with the sink, dishwasher and storage for larger pieces like platters and other serving ware.
This white, contemporary galley kitchen is compact, but designed for maximum style and function. While undertaking a total remodel, the client insisted on keeping the kitchen's existing footprint because it was inherit to the character of the house. To open it up, the design team removed a partition between the kitchen and laundry area. A mix of walnut and white cabinets, along with a wall of floating shelves, keeps the space young and current.
This kitchen was deserving of a fresh remodel. The vision for the space was to add volume, functionality & beauty. The cabinet layout was altered and transformed the space into a galley kitchen. The upper cabinets were lengthened, allowing the ceiling to be visually raised.
Space is best utilized with cabinets and drawers throughout this small, white contemporary kitchen. Stainless steel fixtures and accents highlight the room, and a glass ceiling light resembling a fan adds dimension to the clean look.
Faux-finished wood cabinets add warmth to this small kitchen. A white subway tile backsplash and neutral countertops contrast the dark cabinets to keep the space feeling bright and open. Stainless steel accents, such as the sink, refrigerator and track lighting, reflect light to create a visually larger space.
This quaint kitchen exudes traditional style with wood cabinets, neutral stone countertops and wood floors. A charming breakfast nook is positioned underneath the large window, taking advantage of the room's natural light.
White Traditional Galley Kitchen Is Open, Spacious
The stairway to a lower-level family room backs up to the traditional kitchen in this Brooklyn townhouse. A wide pass-through window opens up the space, bringing in lots of natural light and giving an airy feel to what could otherwise be a cramped galley kitchen.
Mid-Century Modern Galley Kitchen With Nearby Dining Room
A glass panel patio door and skylights on either side of the stainless steel range hood allow this narrow kitchen to appear open and bright. Floating white cabinets are paired with medium grain cabinets, while an an open floor plan allows for easy transition to the adjacent dining room.
This modern kitchen features a classic gray and white color palette with geometric patterned tiles creating a countertop-to-ceiling backsplash. White storage cabinets below the marble counters have gold-accent pull handles, with an art-inspired custom window shade on the kitchen window.
Around the corner, large cabinets and wood floors comprise the galley kitchen. To help the narrow space feel more airy and open, architect Lauren Rubin introduced large windows, recessed lighting and all-white furnishings.
