Modern Black And White Kitchen With Copper Pendants And Work Island With Sink And Dining
This modern black and white kitchen has marble backsplash, countertops, and work island, two prep sinks with contemporary gooseneck faucets, copper pendants, built in appliances, and a midcentury modern inspired dining table and chairs.
Dropped Ceiling Helps to Modernize Home and Create Individual Spaces While Maintaining Continuity
When considering a renovation, the homeowners had several items on their wish list. The back stairs needed to be restored; the eat-in area needed to be updated, and the homeowners wanted the individual spaces in their home to be defined, so designers made these dreams a reality. The stairs that had been closed off have been renovated and are now functional. The eat-in area has been modernized by pushing the walls back to create more space and by adding a red accent wall and modern furnishings. To create the delineation homeowners wanted between spaces, designers dropped the ceiling to create a clear pathway from the front of the house to the back, giving each space its own separate area while still keeping the home connected.
Part of what makes this kitchen so visually interesting is the way designer Caitlin Murray paired moody black countertops with pastel pink cabinets. The contrast is especially striking when set against the crisp white walls.
Modern Eat-In Kitchen With White Stone Countertops
This modern kitchen features white stone countertops and neutral tiled walls. Recessed lighting dots the vaulted ceiling, while two pendant lights illuminate a peninsula with white leather stools. Wall-to-wall tinted glass cabinets provide extra storage for kitchen essentials.
Contrast is key in this bright white kitchen. A white marble countertop on the kitchen island contrasts the black countertops elsewhere in the room. White barstools stand out against the black-painted island base.
This spacious, modern kitchen allows family and friends to gather together in one place without feeling too crowded. The long island with a waterfall countertop offers a place to dine and enjoy each other's company.
Dark wood paneling behind the refrigerator and ovens contrasts against the white used in the cabinetry and countertops. The double range hood was selected for its maximized function, as well as for its modern, sculptural look.
Modern Eat-In Kitchen With Natural Wood Table, White Cabinetry and Cube Fixtures
Sleek white cabinetry lines the walls of this modern kitchen. Light reflects off the polished finishes maximizing the bright and spacious look of the room. A gorgeous natural wood table travels up from the floor and connects to the island. White chairs pop against the wood floor and table.
Modern Kitchen With Woodgrain Cabinetry & Stainless Steel Appliances
Lots of space allows for easy maneuvering around the island and throughout this modern kitchen. Woodgrain cabinetry creates a sleek look and light countertops brighten the room. A yellow, black and gray glass tile backsplash adds a touch of color to the design. Stainless steel appliances fit perfectly with the modern look.
Modern Eat-In Kitchen With Horizontal Wood Paneling
The strong, squared-off lines of this modern kitchen are interrupted only by the soft curve of the chairs at the kitchen table that invite you to stop, have a seat and enjoy the view. Large picture windows both in the kitchen and keeping room give the space a wonderfully open feel. Rich, horizontal wood paneling is an elegant touch that ties the two rooms together.
