Craftsman-Style Chef Kitchen With Lantern Pendant Lights
State-of-the-art stainless steel appliances suit professional and amateur chefs alike. Dark-stained wood cabinets and trim give this kitchen a warm, homey feel typical of Craftsman style. Lantern inspired pendant lights add sculptural detail.
This family of five needed a kitchen that fit their active lifestyle. The main goal of the kitchen remodel was to create an open plan that flows into the dining room and home office. Slate tile flooring and shared cabinetry connects the kitchen and home office, which also functions as the kids' homework center.
A large center island provides extra counter space and storage in this Craftsman kitchen. One of the main goals for the kitchen remodel was to create more of an open feeling that would flow from one room to the next, as well as connect to the backyard.
Brown wood cabinets with spare ornamentation provide a foundation for this craftsman-inspired kitchen. A neutral tile backsplash, painted cabinetry and a kitchen island balances the weighty feel of the heavy cabinets.
Craftsman Kitchen with Alder Cabinets & Granite Countertops
This craftsman style home was built in the 1940s and remodeled to preserve the historical character while adding modern amenities. The updated kitchen features Alder cabinetry with glass-front cabinets and an understated backsplash that brings out the warm browns in the wood.
Custom-stained alder cabinets with Shaker-style doors and granite counters are the backdrop for this contemporary makeover. The aim was to create a kitchen that felt and looked more spacious, had ample storage and created a connection with the backyard.
Roomy, Rustic Kitchen With Hardwood Floors, Coffered Ceiling and Bonus Seating Area
This large craftsman kitchen boasts, among other nice finishes, a beautiful hardwood floor that carries through to a sitting area opposite the kitchen island. Paired with the exposed beam ceiling, the floor makes a big impression on visitors. This kitchen arrangement takes advantage of a wide expanse to provide plenty of seating and gathering options. The center bar in a painted finish complements the dark natural finish on the wall cabinets.
This spacious kitchen features wall-to-wall bamboo cabinets paired with black glossy countertops and a wood paneled range hood. Two wrought iron lantern chandeliers hang above the kitchen island, which boasts a sink and plenty of room for casual dining seating.
This family-friendly kitchen opens up to the casual dining room. Slate tile flooring pairs perfectly with the dining room's hardwood floors, while a large kitchen island provides extra counter space and storage. Earth tones are used throughout the space to create a warm, welcoming space.
Terracotta tile flooring grounds this Craftsman kitchen, which pairs rustic cabinets with neutral countertops. A long line of windows allow for a beautiful view while washing dishes and brings in much-needed natural light.
If you can’t incorporate a whole wall of glass, think smaller. “There are many areas in the home that would benefit from the features of a folding wall system, but may not have space to accommodate such a large opening. JELD-WEN® Custom wood folding windows offer the same advantages of a folding wall system — increased natural light, easy access to the outdoors for entertaining, gorgeous views — in any room of the home,” says Jim Parello, Vice President of Marketing for JELD-WEN.
This kitchen is truly multi-purpose with the addition of a desk in an out-of-the-way area. The large desk space is created from extra cabinetry and butcher block which matches the kitchen style perfectly.
