This blue and white country cottage kitchen features white cabinets, white columns, and arched picture windows. A rustic farmhouse table with intricate wood carvings serves as the focal point of the room. A vaulted ceiling extends the space and gives this kitchen an open, airy feel.
Timeless Cottage Kitchen From Sarah Sees Potential
As seen on season 1 of Sarah Sees Potential, designer Sarah Richardson transformed this once dark and cramped kitchen into a bright, contemporary space that fits the needs of a growing family of three. New stainless steel appliances and pops of light turquoise and green paint give the cozy white kitchen a contemporary, timeless look.
By tearing down the wall originally separating the kitchen from the rest of the home, the resulting design configuration creates a casual yet charming café-like atmosphere. The kitchen flows seamlessly to the dining area and out to the adjacent enclosed patio for a great entertainment space.
The open shelves in this kitchen allowed designer Judy O'Neil Labins to make the most of the salmon pink color she chose for the walls. Pretty shelf brackets, colorful dishes and a collection of art pieces add to the space's cottage charm.
With crisp white walls and cabinetry and a pale blue tile backsplash, it's like a breath of fresh air swept through the kitchen making it a pretty, welcoming place. A slab of white marble overhangs the island creating a handy spot to grab a snack or hang out with the chef.
With comfort and functionality in mind, this ranch kitchen features an island with a range hood and an integrated oven. The cottage feel isn't lost in the stainless steel appliances, all surrounded by custom white glazed cabinets that feel more like home.
Breakfast Bar in Gray Cottage Kitchen With White Cabinets
A small breakfast bar provides a spot for eating in this grand, remodeled kitchen. White cabinets and soft gray walls complement the warm wood floors to make the kitchen feel spacious and clean without being sterile. Combining the Carrara Marble subway tiles with the light gray grout gives the marble an aged, but beautiful appearance.
