Commandeering four square feet of floor space from an adjacent room created a larger, more squarely-shaped space. Jeannine Williams Design installed new ductwork to improve ventilation and rewired the space to increase lighting and services. Doubled storage space includes a new island.
A custom baking station is a keynote feature in the new kitchen design that incorporates a generous amount of open shelving in a ceruse finish. The prep counter is clad in butcher-block countertop and a continuous waterfall edge wrapping. Cabinet hardware and drawer pulls are polished nickel.

The chef's kitchen is designed for cooking as well as entertaining. A full bar area has open shelving for glassware, backlit wine racks and wine refrigerator, while the expansive island provides the two separate cooking areas and tons of prep space.
Traditional Kitchen with Dark Wood and Curved Island
A curved granite island takes command in this eat-in kitchen. A pattern of sinuous lines is carried throughout the space from the intricate cabinet fronts to the spiral pendant light. Fanciful hardware adds further character to the space.
