Home Office with Green Walls and Costal-style Wainscoting
This fun office is off of the living room to give the owners a space to work and take phone calls in the midst of the regular daily hustle. Bright green paint and coastal-style white wainscoting and work together to create a cheerful room; natural wood floors bring a sense of depth to the space.
This contemporary home office features a drum shade pendant light, halogen picture lighting and a black wood desk. A vibrant green accent wall adds a pop of color, while patterned pillows provide a touch of texture.
Gray-Green Home Office Sitting Area With Gallery Wall
To create a multifunctional seating area in an attorney’s home office, designer Tim Barber chose a flexible mix of vintage and reproduction pieces. “For a room versatile enough to prepare a brief, host tea with friends, steer fundraising projects, help with homework and occasionally accommodate overflow guests, we designed a plan with pieces light enough to be moved easily — and durable enough to survive frequent rearranging (nothing too precious here),” he says. “The sofa is a Lino Comfort sleeper from Design Within Reach, which makes the office a convertible guest bedroom in a pinch. We love the deep seat cushions and low flat arms: perfect for a power nap. The chairs are vintage 1957 Knoll Saarinen armchairs, reupholstered in Kravet fabric. The Saarinen cocktail table is a reproduction from Room & Board.”
Bright White Home Office With Modern Painting and Bold Blue Chair
This stylish home office features a lacquered white desk with a bold blue chair and desk lamp. White wainscoting lines the walls, while a colorful modern painting decorates the wall. Hardwood floors add a finishing touch.
This chic bedroom is part home office, part meditation room. Mint green furnishings and forest green walls allow for a fresh, open environment. Devoid of unnecessary clutter, the floor remains open for yoga practice and reading.
This formal dining room also flexes as a den and home office space since the kitchen has enough space for casual dining. Blue-gray walls are paired with white wainscoting and tile floors to set the scene for a long, wooden table surrounded by curved white chairs.
