In this clever use of a small space (3' x 3'), a closet has been converted into a home office and brightened with art and bright red shelving. The design makes use of the 10 foot high vertical space with built-ins that are the same color hue as the wall.
Two maple four-poster beds are set against a bright red hue that's perfect for kids of all ages. A car motif is repeated throughout the room with a pedal police car "driven" by a plush teddy bear in the center of the room and chrome wheel covers perched over each bed. A chrome diamond-plate border (purchased at an auto supply store!) adds another unexpected touch.

An installation of eyes painted in the verre eglomise style by Jane Richardson Mack follow you down the stairs in the "Stare" Well at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Verre eglomise is a technique where a gilded design is painted on the back side of a piece of glass for a mirror-like finish.
This lively kitchen and dining space features a rectangular glass table for casual entertaining, teal clover back chairs and a bronze chandelier. A rustic wooden cabinet is positioned in front of a bright red mosaic tile wall and surrounded by white built-in cabinets, providing plenty of storage space for dining essentials.
Geometric wallpaper mimics the tone of the exposed brick in this contemporary living room. To work around a bend in the wall, a small table hides behind the low-lung sofa, maximizing space and offering storage. A coffee table made from reclaimed wood is a rustic accent on the white shag rug.
Powder Room Features Bark Wallcovering, Unusual Sink
Double entry doors are upholstered with a patterned fabric. The back wall showcases an open weave bark wallcovering that leaves some of the red wall beyond exposed. The sink is repurposed chicken wire filled with a bag of river rocks with a function stainless sink hidden below the wood timbers. Water falls into the basin through the rocks, creating a nice soothing sound.
This vibrant eclectic dining room features a bold red accent wall, multicolored chandelier and blue bench for sitting at the modern dining table. Just to the left, built-in shelving and drawers provide a classy dry bar.
Black furnishings and menswear fabrics stand out against walls painted a vibrant cranberry hue.The queen-size pencil-post bed is dressed with boutique hotel-quality linens, quilted bedding, a cozy wool throw and a ticking-stripe comforter. Turn-of-the-century walnut and poplar doors were stripped of paint and repurposed as pocket doors.
To coordinate with the dining space adjacent to this sun room, the designer got rid of the out-of-date wicker furnishings and kicked up the style by adding bright colors, fun patterns and comfy furnishings.
Drawing on the vivid, high-contrast aesthetic of Hollywood film and TV sets for inspiration, this bathroom is updated with a color scheme of fire engine red, black and taupe. A reclaimed wood ceiling and shower stall contrast against the chalkboard-inspired walls and white tile and cabinets.
