Country Kitchen With Wood Island
White walls, large windows and a pretty pendant ensure that this kitchen is bright and airy for meal prep. Meanwhile, a cheerful blue accent wall, wood island and plaid stool all give the space a charming country touch.
Country-Style Bar With Yellow Trellis Wallpaper and Round Mirror
A round ruffle-framed mirror anchors the wall above a rustic wine and liquor storage cabinet with shelving for glassware and bar accessories. Industrial and vintage accents play together in this functional and efficient space highlighted by yellow trellis wallpaper.
Keep the house clean and organized with a mudroom. Family and guests can store shoes in the built-in cubbies and hang jackets and bags on the row of hooks. The built-in structure creates bench seating as well as extra storage space on top. Wicker accents complement the design and keep the space simple and bright.
Storage Dilemma: Bulky extra rolls of paper towels are taking up premium cabinet space. Solution: In this stylish kitchen by designer Abbe Fenimore, a decorative basket placed under the center island provides a home for extra paper towels. This simple and smart solution keeps the paper products within easy reach, and allows you to keep track of your supply.
Unique Dining Area Includes Bench Seating and Toile Walls
Emily Henderson of HGTV's Secrets From a Stylist designed this small dining area with a thin table made from railroad ties and a contemporary metal base. A mixture of seating, two antique chairs and a distressed bench, bring in a rustic quality. Classic black and white toile wallpaper dresses one wall of the light gray country dining room.
As seen on HGTV's Love It or List It, the new kitchen is located where the old, small living room previously was. The walls on the first floor have been removed, creating an open modern floor plan with views to both the living room and dining area. Updated kitchen cabinetry, new appliances, a decorative tile backsplash and the elongated central island make the new kitchen the center of life on the first floor. Finally, new window treatments, colorful pillows and updated recessed and pendant lighting give a modern and fun vibe throughout.
The room's soft color palette allows the structural elements to stand out. A large brick pass-through fireplace and exposed wood ceiling beams add rustic charm to this elegant bedroom. A sparkling gold chandelier adds a touch of glam to the whitewashed wood bed with muted blue bedding.
Kid's Country Bathroom With Gray and White Chevron Curtains, Floating Sink and Metal Stool
A small mounted shelf provides the perfect space to store a few toys adding color and entertainment to this kid's bathroom. Black hexagon tile creates a dark foundation for the bright white walls and fixtures. A metal stool is perfect for added decor as well as boosting kids up to the deep floating sink.
Country Wood Dining Set Adjacent to Contemporary Kitchen
Gray concrete flooring provides a smooth connection for the rooms in this open floor plan. From the contemporary kitchen, a large opening leads to the dining space. A wood table with matching chairs, floral roman shades and blue walls decorate the room with a country style.
Weathered white beams serve the neat trick of guiding the eye along the length of this open concept dining room down to a small music area with a piano. The red rug beneath the dining table helps define that space in the open layout.
