Stone Double Fireplace in Contemporary Master Bedroom
A double-sided stacked stone fireplace is a stunning focal point in the center of this elegant master bedroom. Comfortable chairs sit on one side for a cozy seating area, while a platform bed is situated between picturesque windows with beautiful views.
Stones in warm terracotta shades are used from the house exterior and garden walls to the patio and water feature. A round patio surrounds the traditional urn-style water feature, which provides soothing sound ambiance to the space.
Master Bathroom Vanity Features Handcrafted Lacquered Wood Vanity
The lacquered wood counters and sinks in this master bathroom -- an unexpected material application -- were custom fabricated by the homeowner. Bundles of rebar compose the vanity legs. The mirror was a ready-made mirror but embellished with an extra layer in order to frame it out and create more contrast against the tile.
This rustic living room with stone walls and fireplace is all decked out for Christmas. Stockings are hung from the mantel with care while decorative trees, decorations, candles, and greenery draw attention to the illuminated Christmas star above. Two simple upholstered chairs up front provide a perfect sitting area for holiday guests. Blue and white patterned throw pillows add some winter glitz to the otherwise neutral room.
Graphic Cabinetry Designs, Metallic Ceiling Create Art Deco Style in Wine Cellar
The wine cellar at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 is as much a place to sit and enjoy a beverage with a guest as it is to store an extensive collection of wines. Jane Richardson Mack and John Romaidis designed the stunning Art Deco-inspired space and curated the beverages within from their travels around California's wine country.
This contemporary bathroom has an edgy masculine vibe thanks to variegated brown tile on the walls. A floating trough sink adds dimension below a sparse industrial light fixture. The faucet is mounted sideways – an unexpected twist to the design.
Unfortunately, the condition of the original stairs was such that the stairs themselves could not be repaired, but the original configuration was kept intact and the original curved handrail was able to be salvaged. The new iron railing was "built around" the original banister.
The beautifully crafted ﬂoating walnut wall tiles evoke blooming ﬂowers throughout the entryway and stairs. To add a statement-making touch, the panels are backlit. Plus, a concealed door leads to to the master bath. With the door shut the wall appears seamless, but when opened it provides access to the magniﬁcent lotus mosaic shower.
This Espresso reach-in closet organizer with Euro Flat styled drawer fronts and Sleek and Trim handles complements modern tastes. Storage was tripled with medium and double hanging, drawers, a tilt-out hamper, pull-out baskets, shelving and slanted shoe shelves.
Shimmery Marble Backsplash in Transitional Kitchen
A shimmery marble backsplash in copper tones shines against the crisp white cabinets and black countertops in this kitchen. To give it that extra wow factor, under cabinet lights highlight the backsplash.
This spacious game room features all-over wood paneling, a vaulted ceiling and medium grain hardwood floors. A metal pool table is positioned in the center of a rectangle made from gray stone tiles, and a gray wingback armchair provides a place for relaxing in between games.
Streamlined cabinetry with long, stainless steel pulls are paired with squared white countertops in this contemporary kitchen. A mosaic tile backsplash adds a pop of color and visual interest to the space.
