A light palette helps this small nursery feel bright and open. Then, for visual interest, designers brought in a colorful Moroccan rug (so soft for bare feet) and a vintage macramé wall-hanging to fill the wall over the crib.
Semi-Private Courtyard With Comfortable Reading Chair
To welcome guests into this newly redesigned home, a low-walled courtyard transformed what was once a stark patch of gravel into an inviting, semi-private outdoor room with soft lighting to illuminate the space at night.
Texture brings so much stylish fun to this nursery, from the wallpapered accent wall to the vintage macramé wall-hanging to the Moroccan rug. The light palette keeps the small room from feeling cluttered.
On the back porch, a pair of swinging daybeds topped with kilim pillows add a playful, laid-back feel to the space creating the perfect spot for relaxing. For additional seating, colorful butterfly-style chairs face the pool and make the space more functional.
Much like the rest of the house, this master bedroom looks bright and bohemian, with a wood canopy bed, matching nightstands and indigo-dyed pillows. Two small sconces cast a warm glow on the space at night.
Instead of a traditional coffee table, this living room is actually anchored by four small side tables. These pieces can be moved around the room as needed, and so they give the owners more flexibility in their arrangement.
