Inviting, Transitional Master Bedroom With Pool View
TriplePoint Design Build continued the color scheme for this remodeled home, using taupe and white to its full effect. The bedding and furnishings are simple but stylish to accommodate the homeowners' busy lifestyle. Modern artwork and a tray ceiling with cove lighting help to update and add interest to the room.
A vaulted ceiling accented by beadboard and rustic beams draws the eye up and adds a charming cottage feel to the HGTV Dream Home 2015 master bedroom. According to interior designer Linda Woodrum, the chandelier is meant to add a feminine touch. She says, “New England tends to be sort of practical and matter of fact. Everything in here is pretty tailored, and we just wanted to put one little thing in here that was a little bit different – just to have some fun.”
This master bedroom makes use of a unifying neutral palette dotted by powder blue accents. A matching pair of wingback armchairs with an ottoman and mirrored dresser make a cozy spot for bedroom lounging, perhaps accompanied by a glass of wine.
A traditional, mahogany four-poster bed adds drama to this serene bedroom. Romantic, glamorous elements, like the chandelier, mirrored nightstand and sheer curtains behind the bed, balance the dark wood bed frame.
Paneled Accent Wall Adds Interest to White Bedroom
Paneling behind the bed creates immediate texture and interest, establishing an understated focal point in this crisp white bedroom. A bold orange reading lamp with a flexible arm offers a vibrant splash of color.
This gorgeous master bedroom with metallic accents and a pastel color palette creates an airy and bright space to rest your head. With unique light fixtures and maximum seating, it is a transitional bedroom done right.
The bedside cabinets and master bed are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The bed has a sophisticated, channeled headboard with wood trim. Even in a neutral and white space, warmth was created through the mixture of old and new. There is a big mix of vintage pieces with new designs. The vintage desk chair is brass and zebra hide and phenomenally crafted with its skinny, curved and tapered legs.
Transitional Gray Bedroom With Glamorous Chandelier
This sophisticated master bedroom features charcoal gray walls paired with pure white design accents, like the bed linens, platform bed and tufted bench. Mirrored nightstands sit on either side of the bed, while a glamorous chandelier hangs above the bed.
Designer Genevieve Gorder transformed an adjacent apartment into a luxurious master suite that includes antique doors imported from Morocco, a hand-carved bed from India, custom wood floors, and a beautiful glass chandelier, as seen on HGTV's "Genevieve's Renovation."
Master Bedroom Features Exposed Beam Ceiling & Gray Accents
While simple in its tones, this master bedroom has tons of visual impact! The fireplace feels warm and inviting, and white and gray linens keep the space feeling fresh and clean. Adding to its charm, the room features an exposed beam ceiling, beautiful windows and comfy armchairs around the fireplace.
The inviting queen trim-lined bed with a fully enclosed wood base and extra tall upholstered headboard has clean, modern lines. On the ceiling above the bed sits a 52-inch, oil-rubbed bronze ceiling fan that cools the space down on warm nights.
Transitional Master Bedroom With Hint of Coastal Charm
Designer Debbie Talianko remodeled this master suite using crisp white bedding with embroidered pillows and a striped bolster to bring about a coastal look. Matching table lamps sit atop dark wood nightstands, and a white upholstered headboard, Roman shades and wainscoting complete the chic design.
