Repurposed Church Window Creates Focal Point in Newly Renovated Master Bedroom
As seen on Fixer Upper, the newly renovated master bedroom has been transformed with a new, neutral color palette that makes the space feel clean and bright. Joanna chose to incorporate wispy fabrics to soften the space, while wood accents and twin table lamps warm the space. Joanna also repurposed an old church window as a headboard, which created a focal point in the space.
Hanging romantic light fixtures over the sleek gray nightstands maximizes the surface space for a mirrored tray. The feminine bedroom mixes floral wallpaper with a tufted velvet headboard and pretty metallic fabrics.
Knowing that the owners had a new baby on the way, Bria Hammel Interiors wanted this master bedroom to be especially quiet and calming. Thus, they outfitted the space with striped curtains, a tufted bench and nightstands in soothing shades of blue.

Across from the four poster bed, a custom built-in houses the owners' flat screen TV and keeps their clothes organized. The front of the drawers were covered with mesh and matched with handsome brass and glass hardware.
Meticulously designed with special attention placed in the tiniest of details, every surface was considered. This condo is full of luxurious textiles, rich color palettes, attractive textures and a daring mix of old and new.
