Gray Traditional Girl's Bedroom
An ultra traditional girl's bedroom brings out all the femininity with floral fabrics, a painted ceiling and a pastel color palette. An animal print rug offsets the classic furniture and adds an unexpected element.
Graphic lines and clean symmetry characterize this contemporary kids' bedroom. Gray walls, bedding and carpet get a punch from orange accents, including a bookshelf that doubles as a nightstand and provides storage for books and games.
A boldly patterned cornice, durable FLOR tiles and a bright, fun palette create a bedroom fit for two young superheroes. The fabric is by Schumacher, and the cube-shaped nightstand is by Jonathan Adler.
Compared to his sisters' rooms, this boy's room was cooler in tone with slate wall covering, gray wall paint and shades of blue decor. Acrylic cubes and shelves display the toy car collection in a modern and unique aesthetic. The acrylic finish does not distract from the wall covering behind and creates a playful "floating" look.
Feminine Traditional Girl's Bedroom With Twin Beds
A dainty crystal chandelier adds classic elegance to this girl's bedroom. French-style twin beds sit against a recessed wall where tulle creates a canopy effect above the headboards. Dark hardwood floors add warmth to the mostly gray space.
Pink, Gray and Gold Girl's Bedroom With Twin Beds and Polka Dot Comforters
This lively kids' bedroom features two twin beds dressed in white and gold polka dot comforters. Colorful pom pom throw pillows decorate the beds, while framed finger paintings hang above. Faux fur rugs at the foot of each bed add a cozy touch to the deep brown hardwood floors.
Muted walls with vibrant orange accents and geometric patterns make the kids’ bedroom not only fun but sophisticated and ideal for all ages. “I think it has universal appeal because it is very cute and childlike in a boy’s room, but I think this also works well as a guest room for adults,” says interior designer Linda Woodrum.
A cozy lavender armchair adds a pretty dose of color to this stylish girl's bedroom. Behind the chair, turquoise and white patterned wallpaper creates movement and interest, giving the space a dynamic impact.
This girl's bedroom has everything it needs for cozy—and stylish—comfort. There's a big bed, a desk for homework and a tucked-away reading and daydreaming nook. Gray and white is a simple palette and makes it easy to accessorize with bright colors and graphic patterns.
