To create more light in the space, the Good Bones team, Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak, added two new windows in the reclaimed wood accent wall. This not only gives the space a focal point, but also allows more natural light into the space, making it feel bright and open. To add to the elegant, industrial design the team was going for, they added black and white artwork, a metal headboard, brown bed linens and dark end tables and lamp shades. To tie the space together and give it a pop of color, a green shag carpet adds comfort to this elegant, industrial master bedroom.

The marquee sign behind the crib, not only lights up, but the letters can also be changed at any time to write sweet messages or celebrate milestones.

Eric is lucky enough to have a welder sister who helped him create this steel cantilevered bed in the home's master bedroom. The metal bookcases were salvaged from NASA offices.

Oversized Leaning Mirror Adds Drama and Depth to Rustic Industrial Master Bedroom
On the way out the door, designers added an oversized, leaning mirror to provide greater function in this master space. Not only does it allow for the perfect place to check your outfit before leaving, this mirror adds drama and depth to the rustic industrial master bedroom.
This kids full bath is filled with industrial features that carry over from the bedroom. The cabinetry is faux painted in a cool driftwood pattern with subway tiled walls and a fun industrial-style chandelier.
This nursery for singer Nick Carter's son features industrial style wooden shelves that are perfect for displaying keepsakes, like baby blocks and framed photos. Underneath is a neutral sofa with decorative throw pillows and a built-in trundle bed. Soft-hued hot air balloon wallpaper provides a fun accent.

To add style and design, the wall sconces, which are on a pulley system to allow the homeowners to adjust the lamps to their desired height, and overhead chandelier break the traditional approach of bedside lamps and a ceiling fan, providing a romantic, yet functional, feel to the space, while the white bedding, airy curtains, microfiber rug and earth tones infuse the room with softness.

In this renovated guest bedroom, Karen and Mina repainted the walls and replaced the floors to give the space a fresh, neutral color palette. To create warmth in the space, Karen and Mina, of HGTV's Good Bones, used shades of brown, to make the room warm and inviting. They also added reclaimed wood accents and and an industrial chandelier to create interest and highlight the elegant, industrial design they were going for.
