Guest Bedroom is Welcoming, Rustic
Rustic wood creates twin bunk beds, perfect for overnight guests. Drawers at the bottom blend seamlessly into the design, while providing storage. Pillows featuring closeup shots of mountain animals brings a whimsical vibe to the space. Design by Tracey Byrne
A pink bench and pillows lend a playful, modern touch to this rustic guest bedroom. Textured walls, earthy-colored window treatments and an exposed wooden beam along the ceiling add warmth to the space.
Don't rush out to buy new furniture if your guest bedroom is missing a few pieces — just improvise. Designer Erinn Valencich brought in a weathered garden step to serve as a bedside table. Its rustic patina adds charm while the steps create display space.
This guest room features two bunk beds that provide plenty of space for visitors. Tufted taupe upholstered guard rails are positioned on the top beds, while all-over neutral tones complete the look of the room, creating a laid-back vibe.
A rustic wood table is paired with an antique print and tall, streamlined table lamp for an eclectic vignette in the guest house bedroom. The homeowners are avid riders, so a horse statue showcases their love, while a wicker basket underneath the table is perfect for hidden storage.
A slatted wood bed is flanked by metal nightstands and traditional sconces. Exposed wood beams bring a rustic quality to the space, which is grounded by plush carpeting. "Birds on a Wire" art by Corinne Adams adds bright color to the mostly neutral space.
A loft above the bar offers a place for guests to rest after a long night of jam sessions. This amazing soundproof space designed by Kelly and Co. also includes a cozy seating area and a music corner, which made it perfect for the client, who loves to entertain.
Shiplap walls and flooring made from 125-year-old reclaimed wood wraps this guest room in a rustic, cozy feel. A window seat offers the perfect spot for relaxing and taking in the view of the greenbelt bordering the Westlake, Texas, home's property.
White walls and aqua accents give this combined office-guest room a light, airy feel. Custom sliding doors divide the space and bring privacy to the guest space. Modern lighting and dark hardwood flooring mix with softer, more rustic elements to create an interesting mix.
