Stone Double Fireplace in Contemporary Master Bedroom
A double-sided stacked stone fireplace is a stunning focal point in the center of this elegant master bedroom. Comfortable chairs sit on one side for a cozy seating area, while a platform bed is situated between picturesque windows with beautiful views.
In the HGTV Dream Home 2014, guests are treated to a cozy, colorful retreat with designer details, including the bright orange four poster bed. An oversized clock and a desk used as a bedside table complete the look.
To add country architecture to the interior of the sleeping cabin, its walls are covered in a style of wood cladding called board and batten. First, wooden planks are installed vertically and, once secure, the gaps between the boards are covered with 1-inch-by-2-inch trim to hide the seams.
Contemporary Guest Bedroom is Oasis Away From Home
This elegant guest bedroom features two matching beds with upholstered headboards, lush gray bedding and tufted contemporary benches. A gray shag area rug adds style underfoot, while metallic brown squares create an eye-catching accent wall behind the beds.
Charcoal gray bedding dresses a chic bed with an upholstered white headboard. Adding to the contemporary style of the bedroom is a sleek, open nightstand and glass table lamp. A leather throw pillow brings an earthy, masculine quality to the space.
Folk Art as Headboard in Rustic Sleeping Cabin Bedroom
To anchor the 15-foot-by-12-foot sleeping cabin in traditional country style, folk art—used in place of a headboard—draws the eye toward a queen bed outfitted with casual cotton linens. For a collected look, two different tables were used on each side of the bed instead of a matching pair. This is something interior designers do to make a space feel more one-of-a-kind.
Contemporary Brown Bedroom With Wall-Mounted Bedside Table
In a small espresso colored guest bedroom, a wall-mounted bedside table can offer just enough space to hold a lamp and a clock without dominating the tight square footage, like in this contemporary room with green headboard.
Rustic Beach Guest Bedroom with Wall-Mounted Rock Headboards, Leaf Bedding, Wood Beams
A rustic guest bedroom is full of browns and oranges. The leaf bedding and the ceiling’s wood panels bring natural elements into the space. Designer Sandra Espinet used Light gray and black river rocks and pebbles to create the wall-mounted headboards.
Rustic wood creates twin bunk beds, perfect for overnight guests. Drawers at the bottom blend seamlessly into the design, while providing storage. Pillows featuring closeup shots of mountain animals brings a whimsical vibe to the space. Design by Tracey Byrne
Traditional Master Bedroom With Rose-Hued Walls and Cozy Sitting Area
This master bedroom features rosy-hued walls paired with fresh white bed linens, a neutral dresser and metallic accents, like a gold-trimmed mirror. Recessed lighting dots the double tray ceiling, while a cozy sitting area features gray chenille armchairs and a coffee table.
