This gorgeous master bedroom was created out of what was once a carport. The designer planned a built-in platform bed with storage surrounding it on both sides. To maximize the bed's floating appearance, a mirror was installed on the bottom half of the bed's platform.
This urban loft with concrete ceilings and columns is warmed up by wood flooring. The platform bed and color palette are Asian inspired. A contemporary storage unit acts as a room divider, giving the bedroom a sense of privacy in the open floor plan.
With spartan simplicity and a soft neutral palette, this bedroom creates a soothing retreat. Visual interest is brought in via texture: the stone accent wall, built-in wood nightstands, even the carpet.
One of the primary design goals of this gorgeous master bedroom retreat was to seamlessly blend indoors and out. Large sliding glass doors can be moved back in good weather, making the walls disappear. And the concrete flooring is the same in the interior and exterior spaces to further unify the two.
The decor of this Asian-inspired bedroom has a nature theme, picked up in the potted bamboo plant, bedside lamps and the large artwork above the bed. A long low bench in front of the room's floor-to-ceiling window lets occupants make the most of the view.
Neutral Asian Style Bedroom With Contemporary Windows
Geometric floor-to-ceiling windows offer spectacular views of the natural landscape, making this room appear as though it's in a tree house. A hand-carved corner chair, an Oriental rug and Asian art above the bed give the space a collected, global look inspired by traveling.
Open Asian Bedroom With Black and White Headboard, Throw Pillows With Sheen Finish and Angled Rug
A black and white three-fold headboard and Buddha art canvas bring traditional asian flair to the contemporary feel of this bedroom. A mix of throw pillows features yellow, orange and purple tones with a sheen finish reflecting the natural light from the windows. Midcentury modern nightstands support warm-toned table lamps on both sides of the bed. A brown rug is angled across the floor to create an interesting line through the room.
There's no better way to spice up an elevated floor — and remind yourself and guests that it's there — quite like the addition of rope lighting. Tucked under the underside of the raised floor, the rope stretches all the way across the room, creating a unique glow. The details and creative elements of the space are enhanced with the use of several different light sources: framing wall sconces, hanging pendants, recessed can lights, table lamps and a hidden fixture within the headboard.
The owners of this home turned the lower level and carport into a luxurious, Asian-style master bedroom suite. The large space includes several seating areas, a courtyard, spa bathroom and a remarkable fireplace that hovers above the floor.
The homeowner wanted a simple, elegant space that would allow them to relax after a long day, so designers created a Zen-inspired master suite that draws on the beauty of the moon and the simplicity of the leaves.
In the master bedroom, large windows frame the space, making the room feel bright and open. Two chaise lounges give the homeowners a lovely view of their surroundings without ever having to leave their oasis, while an oriental rug and orange accents help to add color and personality to this elegant, Asian inspired master bedroom.
