Navy-Blue Bathroom With Mosaic Tile Floor in Shades of Blue
This small bathroom thinks big, thanks to a doorless shower with blue tile accents, glossy navy walls, an airy vintage console-style sink, and a floor of penny tiles in random, complementary shades of blue.
Designer Kari McIntosh Dawdy charmed her client with this bathroom transformation that used a monochromatic, unadorned design to achieve a spa-like atmosphere. Sometimes the less-is-more approach works magic for a small space.
When they need to freshen up, guests can make use of this lovely, white-and-blue shower. Notice how the white backsplash has a soft pattern to give the space a little energy, while pebble-tile floors continue the coastal theme.
This all-white guest bathroom embraces clean lines and a sparkle finish to enlarge and lighten the space. A large, built-in white cabinet and a white vanity on the opposite wall are a boon to storage. Pops of gray in the bathroom hardware and flooring soften this otherwise monochromatic look.
Small Bathroom With Pedestal Sink and Glass Shower
With a pedestal sink, cabinet for linens and a stall shower all in the same spot, this bathroom really maximizes its small footprint. Patterned tile adds some interest to the floors, while still complementing -- rather than competing with -- the white subway tile backsplash.
A minimalist vanity with an undermount sink lends sleek, streamlined style to this transitional-style bathroom. The stacked stone tiles lining the wall add depth to the space, while staggered hanging pendants and a tall, narrow mirror create a brightening, opening effect.
This small powder room features brilliant style. The glass pendant light casts a fun shadow on the space, pairedd with a large wall-mounted mirror and marble vanity. A small window beside the sink provides light with a roman shade.
This petite powder room is filled with fun, whimsical elements, from the faux bois treatment on the walls and floors, to the porthole mirror, to the antique dresser-turned-vanity. Nautical-inspired sconces, along with the tight dimensions, work together to give this room the feel of a ship's compartment.
Small Bathroom With Contemporary Sconces, Basin Sink & Wood Vanity
The designer set out to create perceived scale in a small space -- the open niche below the vanity serves to expand the bath area's visual footprint. Using multiple materials in similar tones gives additional depth and richness to this little bathroom.
In this small bathroom, neutral walls and light wood pieces -- like the mirror and vanity -- set a calming tone that guests are sure to enjoy. Meanwhile, to the right of the vessel sink, a collection of framed fishing tackles bring some country charm to the setting.
Small White Beadboard Cottage Bathroom With Floating Vanity
Contemporary fixtures and a circle-in-the-square mirror contrast with the traditional white beadboard walls in this cottage’s small bathroom, while a petite mermaid perched on the floating vanity adds just the right touch of whimsy.
