Relaxing Guest Bathroom
This was originally a small guest bedroom that was swapped with the adjoining guest bathroom to create a new and more spacious guest bathroom. Soft, pale blue floral tiles cover the walls, a suspended Lumicor panel divides the shower area from the freestanding tub and a floating, custom concrete sink provides a beautiful sink vanity area. Crystal accented lighting, plumbing fixtures and knobs add a little sparkle to the space.
Above the single vanity, a geranium-leaf mirror adds texture and color to the leather blue walls. Likewise, the mirror complements the vanity's gold hardware, as well as the mosaic artwork and fabric lining the ceiling. As a result, this small bathroom becomes a coordinated space in which guests can wash up and refreshen.
This bathroom is chock full of custom elements, like reclaimed wood shelves that add warmth to the cool blue-and-white space. In this upstairs bath, the design team chose blue penny tile and white subway tile for the walls, a counterpart to a downstairs bath with the colors reversed.
Cool blue walls juxtapose against the warm terracotta floor tiles and rustic wood vanity and doors. Neutral tiles are used to create the walk-in shower, while an inset of blue tiles reflects the wall color.
Custom blue leather walls lined with gold fabric become a canvas on which to display the large mosaic work 'Queen of Malaren' by Einar Forseth (here digitally reproduced, of course). The image's many colors shine beneath the 'petrified' sunflower light fixture, which in turn brightens this single vanity bathroom.
Light Blue Bathroom Features Subway Tile Wainscoting
White subway tiles stretch halfway up the wall in this serene bathroom, providing subtle contrast against the light blue upper half of the walls. A clean-lined pedestal sink with a sleek faucet completes the space.
This cheerful aqua bathroom reflects youth and vintage Hollywood glamor — perfect for a teen girl. The room manages to feel simultaneously fun and sophisticated, ensuring it can grow with the girl through later teenage years.
Soft Blue Bathroom With Mosaic Tile, Soaking Tub & Single Vanity
Mosaic tiles take a delightful twist when installed vertically instead of horizontally, which is more common. Tones of blues and neutral create a soothing, upscale feel in this transitional master bathroom. A Carrera marble countertop on the vanity adds additional richness and interest to the space.
Beautiful, Bright Bathroom With White & Blue Tile Walls
This gorgeous bathroom features a light, calming design. White and blue tile covers the walls, adding soft color to the room. A white vanity fits perfectly between two thin windows and echos the clean white of the floor and ceiling.
