Polished Wood in Powder Room
When guests need to freshen up, they can head into this pretty powder room. Here, an edgy vanity and mirror give the space Art Deco style, while a penny tile backsplash and wood vessel sink add some natural texture.
By tiling the wall behind the sink, Andreas Charalambous creates visual interest without overwhelming those lucky enough to visit this mosaic powder room. Small object boxes, reflected in the mirror, are an efficient way to display treasures in a small space.
Attached to the mudroom, this powder room is the main bathroom for guests. The walls are covered in the same beach-y shade of gray-green used in the mudroom, with a custom piece of art by David Bromstad that depicts a large silhouette of a fish.
This neutral powder room features floor-to-ceiling wood paneling and stone mosaic tile. A bold marble countertop adds flair to the distressed vanity, while lantern-style metal lighting gives the room an Asian-inspired touch.
Powder Room Features Silk Fabric Wallcovering and Gold and Onyx Mosaic Tile
Designer Julie Rootes sought inspiration from natural elements for the powder room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Jim Thompson's "Tibetan Sun" silk fabric serves as the focal wallcovering and is complemented by 24-karat gold and onyx glass mosaic tile and a Calacatta gold marble sink.
Designer Emily Esposito went through about 10 different ideas for the powder bathroom before finalizing this design. It features a custom floating concrete ramp sink with a backsplash of wood paneling and shimmery mica wallpaper.
Eclectic Powder Room Features Metal Orb Chandelier
This delightful powder room was given life with a collection of hand-painted Italian glass plates. The plates were hung high to create drama and draw attention to the metal orb chandelier. Picasso’s "Blue Nude" is the featured art in the powder room, bringing classic sophistication to the space.
A deep black accent wall and floating countertop add beautiful contrast and interest to this neutral powder room. A long, rectangular window allows natural light to filter through and brighten the space.
