Neutral tones and architectural details create a relaxing environment in this master bathroom, from the crown molding and archway trim to the marble flooring. The double vanity provides lots of storage with traditional-style cabinets beneath and a corner mounted TV above. Symmetrical Master Bath With Soaking Tub, Window and Onyx Slab Floor
The stunning master bath’s story begins with its materials. “To achieve that quintessential Cali vibe, we used calm colorways and focused our attention on bringing nature into the design,” says Cydney Mitchell. The hand-crafted and hand-glazed terracotta tile from Morocco and the dramatic onyx slabs were inspired by the rocky cliffs and seas of earth tones of the California coast.”
That all sounds quite logical, but the execution was tricky. “The biggest factor in the symmetrical space is that we wanted to draw your eye to the beautiful iron window with a tub set in the center,” Mitchell explains. “We then added the four book-matched slabs, and from there felt it would only work if both sides were also consistently symmetrical, leaving no distractions for the eye. Funny enough, we explored close to 25 various layouts and revisions to the plans before we settled on the final design.”
Walnut Double Vanity with Crystal Knobs in Elegant Master Bathroom Space
In this section of the master bathroom, a walnut vanity with two sinks provides plenty of storage and functionality in the space, while still keeping the look updated and elegant. Above the vanity, two beveled mirrors reflect the neutral color palette and natural light in the space, while transom windows allow warmth to come in from the outside by letting in natural light of its own.
Neutral Contemporary Master Bathroom With Paneling
The primary goal for the master bathroom was that it be relaxing, but designers also wanted it to be interesting and full of texture. A mix of materials in earth tones—wood, stone, tile—checked off all the boxes.
Steps from the master bedroom sits a modern, neutral en suite bathroom. The entire wall features a lengthy double vanity with white counters and brushed nickel details, from the faucets to the cabinet hardware. Opposite the vanity, across the slate tile flooring, sits a small powder table and covered chair. A spacious tub with mosaic tile wall is positioned at the end of the bathroom.
In the master bathroom, designers created an oasis with a unique bathtub as the centerpiece of the showcase. Above it, a contemporary chandelier adds light on cloudy days and at night, while geometric prints on the wall add color to the space. The large picture window lets in plenty of natural light that makes the area feel warm and bright. This light is mirrored in the neutral wall color and the gray and white tile floor that was laid in a herringbone pattern to create a bit more texture in the space.
In the redesign of this lake house's master bathroom, designers opened up the awkward L-shaped room. Now, the room includes a private water closet for the toilet, a glassed-in shower, two sinks and a luxurious soaking tub. Walls are tiled in neutral porcelain
Bathtub Nook Adds a Feeling of Comfort to Neutral Master Bathroom
In the corner of the master bathroom, designers created a nook with a bath tub to complete the relaxing feel in the space. The bathtub has soft, rounded edges that gives the space a little extra feeling of comfort.
