Eclectic Master Bathroom Boasts Freestanding Tub
Polished concrete floors and a wood paneled ceiling set the tone for an intriguing design in this master bathroom. Exposed plumbing adds an industrial vibe, while a freestanding tub lends classic charm.
If Snow White had her own bathroom today, it would probably look like this. Modern features are contrast against captivating woodland elements to create a masterpiece bathroom. No one can argue that soaking in this stunning tub would be a dream come true.
Neutral and natural details are infused in this stunning master bedroom, from the leather tufted headboard with brass studding to the neutral nightstand with framed art and rippled table lamp with shade.
Eclectic Master Bathroom With Onyx Tile and Soaking Tub
This eclectic bathroom has a fun, funky vibe in addition to a deep soaking tub. The large window brings in natural light that shines off the honey-colored onyx tile floor, brightening the room while the Bertoia chairs and art establish its uniqueness.
Purple and gold quatrefoil-patterned wallpaper provides a strikingly stylish accent wall in this glamorous dressing room. A large mirror leans against the accent wall to assist in creating the perfect outfit.
Eclectic Powder Room With Recycled, Light Up Blue Countertop
A motion sensor enables the counter to light up automatically, welcoming guests into the powder room with a soft blue glow. The clients couldn't be happier with this everyday fix to their deep sea calling.
Powder Room Features Silk Fabric Wallcovering and Gold and Onyx Mosaic Tile
Designer Julie Rootes sought inspiration from natural elements for the powder room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Jim Thompson's "Tibetan Sun" silk fabric serves as the focal wallcovering and is complemented by 24-karat gold and onyx glass mosaic tile and a Calacatta gold marble sink.
In the en suite of the eclectic master bedroom, designers chose a wall tile that added texture in the space. The brown tile on the walls in the shower and bath tub spaces has a sort of "underwater" feel, creating a softer space and a focal point for the bathroom. In the shower, brown and tan stained glass tile complement the bold wall choice, while a lime green patterned rug ties this master bathroom space into the master bedroom.
The homeowner loves florals, so designer John McCain uses wallpaper of giant red and pink watercolor-style flowers for the downstairs powder room. The floating vanity features traditional trimwork and a marble countertop.
Elements of Gold Elevate Small Powder Room in San Francisco Showcase
Designer Julie Rootes selected the gold-leaf metal niche in the powder room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015 to mimic the color and honeycomb pattern of the silk wallcovering. The look is complemented by 24-karat gold and onyx mosaic tile.
After a long day at work, there's nothing like settling into a soaking tub. A matte black bath tray visually complements the backsplash and allows the owners to read a book or watch a movie on their laptop.
In the upstairs bathroom, designers made a nod to the homeowners' son's love of music with the retro photograph of a cassette tape. They added even more personality to the space with modern fixtures and modular storage, creating the ultimate, eclectic bathroom space.
