Found objects and plumbing fittings used as fixtures bring a decidedly eclectic air to this small powder room. Gray paint continues from the walls to the ceiling, adding to the industrial vibe. An animal hide on the floor and pine cones used as decor bring in organic elements as well as added whimsy.
Charming Floral Powder Room With Hammered Nickel Vessel Sink
A curved, natural walnut vanity topped with Calacatta marble served as a design solution that met the client’s needs. The upholstered door panel addressed the client’s concern about sound transfer. Other highlights, including a custom backsplash topped with a beveled glass, a stone-framed mirror, a hammered nickel vessel sink and Romo’s dynamic Kimura wallpaper, add that extra edge to this exquisite and functional space.
HGTV's Cousins on Call, Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri, rebuilt this home's master suite, including this chic master bathroom. The stunning new bathroom features a vintage-style clawfoot tub, a playful mirrored wall and a stylish pendant light.
After giving the original materials a good cleaning, Nicole painted the walls a dark violet shade to match the masculine elements in the rest of the house. Light accessories contrast against the walls.
Eclectic Powder Room With Blue and Gray Geometric Wallpaper
This stylish powder room features a blue and green geometric wallpaper paired with an otherwise neutral palette. A mirror and two sconces are placed above the rectangular single sink vanity, while a framed flower photograph adds a feminine touch.
The walls of this California powder room are covered with hand-painted de Gournay wallpaper. The bubbly, Italian glass antique sconces and the frosted glass tap handles extend the watery theme of the fish wallpaper.
Before the renovation, this bathroom was a mess with a broken window, a missing sink, paint-spattered tile and no toilet or running water. As the main bathroom that guests will use, it needs to be beautiful and functional.
Influences from architect Frank Lloyd Wright are seen in this powder room with the rhythmic play of the decorative vertical wood ladder detail, horizontal stacked bands of solid surface material and wood for the vanity. Additional warmth and interest were added with three stacked metal horizontal sconces. The vertical band of mirror visually expands the space, and the chrome faucet disappears into the mirror, creating a waterfall experience into the sculptural stone sink.
