Sophisticated and serene, the master bathroom at the 2014 HGTV Smart Home shines with chrome hardware, a latte color scheme and high-tech features. Adjoining the master bathroom is a large walk-in closet, offering plenty of storage and a handy spot for ironing.
Open Air Bathroom with Dramatic Chandelier and Double Vanities
The Olson residence after the addition of a master bedroom retreat by licensed contractor Chip Wade. A chandelier hangs over the bathtub for a dramatic and elegant look. The couple will also enjoy the separate vanities in the spacious and open bathroom. By finishing the incomplete attic space, Chip Wade was able to design a spacious retreat for the homeowners to escape to when the house is feeling too crowded, as seen on HGTV's Elbow Room.
Triangle Shapes Make A Frame Roof Seem Less Constricting
The sharp pitch of an A frame roof can feel a bit small and constricting, but this design makes the most of that space. The exposed beams that accent the room make use of triangular shapes to accent the drastic pitch and make the space look larger.
In addition to the vintage tub, this master bathroom features soft hues of neutral, custom Roman shades, and beige cabinetry that is illuminated by the small wrought-iron wall sconces creating a simply elegant space that is warm and relaxing.
Clean, Bright and Inviting Contemporary Master Bedroom
The design in this space takes advantage of the tons of natural light this home has to offer. From white walls to reflect the light to windows that allow it to bathe every corner of the room, the result is a clean, bright and inviting space that functions perfectly for the needs of these homeowners.
To give the Olsons the ultimate master suite, Chip Wade and his team from HGTV's hit show Elbow Room created an open air bathroom with double vanities, a double shower, a large soaker tub and beautiful light fixtures. This bathroom is visible from any area of the suite and also has the benefit of the natural light let in by the wall of windows in the suite.
Master Bedroom and En Suite Make Use of Limited Space
The bathroom in this master en suite makes the most of its limited space. The vanities in the space face each other and are separated by a hanging mirror to best utilize the space, while the bedroom and bathroom space share a wall for the television and fireplace, making both amenities accessible in either room.
Fireplace and Natural Light Keep Asian Master Bedroom and En Suite Warm and Bright
This spa inspired bathroom blends seamlessly into the master bedroom suite. The fireplace that rests on the wall separating the two spaces serves to heat both spaces, while the natural light that floods the room from the large, high windows keep the spaces bright and airy.
As seen on HGTV's hit show Elbow Room, Chip and his team redesigned the Howells' master suite to include lots of closet space, an open concept floor plan, and brilliant, bold colors. The Howells were looking for a spa retreat, and Chip has delivered with an oversized whirlpool tub, a multitude of candles, and deep purple hues that are sure to bring anyone into tranquility.
For their master suite, Chip and his team from Elbow Room, an HGTV show, added an open air bathroom to the Olsons' master suite. He also added two hideaway televisions at the foot of the bed so that the couple has the freedom to be alone together.
Master Bedroom Suite With Onyx Fireplace Divider Wall
A backlit onyx fireplace serves as the only divider between the bedroom and bathroom in this expansive master suite. Structural columns are wrapped in wood, and dropped ceilings allow for pockets to house window treatments. A vast mosaic wall guides the eye back toward the bathtub, making the masculine suite feel even larger.
