The home's entry flows into the formal living room, so designers went with a simple design to give the space an open, airy and uncluttered feel. A simple, modern bench with muted colored pillows, soft colored artwork and a gray rug define the space and usher guests into the home's living room.

In the foyer, black and white zebra striped benches and black and white art illuminated by black sconces help to create a statement when guest first enter the home, setting the tone for the rest of the home's spaces.
Light and Bright Foyer With Custom Console Tables and Exposed Beam Ceiling
The elongated foyer runs the length of this portion of the home and is furnished with rustic console tables custom made by furniture artisan Clint Harp. Potted plants and an exposed beam ceiling made from reclaimed lumber add eye-catching finishing touches. Natural light illuminates the space.
A burnt orange rug provides a jolt of color in this gallery white landing. The wall hanging by Phillips Collection is built from barrel tops, and with a bench beneath, the graphic lines of the vignette create a striking sitting area in this modern home.
Though her clients downsized to a smaller home near their children's school, designer Robin LaMonte managed to give the family a formal entry using a beautiful wood sideboard and a chic chandelier. Two watercolor paintings add subtle color to the walls, while Daisy the dog waits to greet visitors.
A concrete planter is a perfect modern home for snake plants. Paired with the modern black and white painting and whitewashed wood floors, this corner feels like a mini-modern art gallery as you enter the home.
