Beautiful Kitchen Island With a Marble Top and Gold Pendants
This stunning kitchen inside a Cape Cod-style home in Malibu, CA, features white cabinetry with bold, black hardware, an expansive kitchen island with a mismatched marble top and gold pendant lights above. A moody walk-in pantry is visible behind the stove and range hood.
This gallery style kitchen was updated with elegant limestone flooring, rich cherry cabinets and granite countertops, all of which maximize the wow factor in the limited space. The cabinet hardware is a chic finishing touch, coordinating beautifully with the stainless steel appliances.
The kitchen was made wide enough to accommodate two cooks and passers-through. Period-authentic light fixtures and fir flooring, to match the original flooring, were chosen to make the addition blend seamlessly with the original house.
The full size kitchen on this houseboat is a fantastic amenity for any homeowner. The "U" shaped lower cabinets add plenty of counter space, while the abundance of cabinets add stylish storage and the stainless steel appliances and countertop give the space a finished, modern look without sacrificing functionality.
In this galley kitchen, the colors from the bold wallpaper are repeated in the green wall paint and blue Ann Saks tile backsplash. The pattern's drama is balanced by sleek white Ikea cabinets, countertops and stainless steel hardware. Large copper pendants add warmth to the space and complement the room's jewel tones.
The homeowners wanted to create effortless entertaining space in the kitchen and easy access between the kitchen and the outdoor entertaining space, so designers created an island that runs the length of the kitchen. This island is complete with a breakfast bar that offers the home a casual dining option, while just behind it, a large, sliding glass door creates seamless transitioning between the two spaces and allowing the homeowners the choice between opening the doors for one large, indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces or two separate areas.
White Traditional Galley Kitchen Is Open, Spacious
The stairway to a lower-level family room backs up to the traditional kitchen in this Brooklyn townhouse. A wide pass-through window opens up the space, bringing in lots of natural light and giving an airy feel to what could otherwise be a cramped galley kitchen.
Spacious Transitional Galley Kitchen With Warm Mahogany Flooring
The perimeter cabinets in this lovely transitional kitchen use oyster finished maple with lots of detail and an amaretto glaze, creating a nice contrast with the mahogany flooring. The magnificent stone countertops blend all the colors in the room together.
