Like the kitchen, Gladys’ office is one of the home’s more toned-down spaces. The office may not house as many objects as the living room or family room, but what it does share with both of those rooms is a color palette of white and black with pops of red. Despite her bold choices in texture, pattern and size, Gladys admits that when it comes to color, she is, “mostly drawn to neutral tones.” It’s the understated nature of this palette that keeps the visual effect of her eclectic style under control while making all of the rooms feel related.

Sustainably created out of unutilized wood chips from mills, Monotread is used for the built-in desk, the flooring and the ceiling. Check out the fun ground level window, ideal for providing light as well as privacy.
This eclectic, feminine home office features bold artwork that turns the desk into a focal point. The sleek, modern white desk has a gold base, upping the glam factor. Meanwhile, a bold pink lamp connects to hues featured in the painting and elsewhere in the space. The design team infused the client's personality throughout the space.
The red-and-white chevron pattern used in the floor and chair upholstery of this home office energizes the space. The dark wood cabinetry adds dramatic contrast and plenty of storage space for office essentials.
