Beautiful, Craftsman Kitchen With Rift-Cut Oak Cabinetry
Even the refrigerator is disguised to look like the cabinetry. To the left, tall pantry cabinets store everything you need for cooking. The designer says, “Shallow pantry cabinets are one of my favorite kitchen design tricks - they hold a tremendous amount of items within easy view."
This Craftsman style, waterfront home features a classic living room that's warm and inviting. A stone fireplace centers the space with wooden mantel and built-in shelving, while the best views are seen through the French doors that open up to Lake Washington.
Erin and Ben agreed with the homeowners that the home would be better served by restoring the original porch. The French doors get updated for proper function and are painted ox-blood on the exterior side to match the front door, and white on the inside in keeping with the interior trim.
