Stone Double Fireplace in Contemporary Master Bedroom
A double-sided stacked stone fireplace is a stunning focal point in the center of this elegant master bedroom. Comfortable chairs sit on one side for a cozy seating area, while a platform bed is situated between picturesque windows with beautiful views.
Nailhead trim stools add extra seating in the living room when needed and can be stowed away under the contemporary table. Ombre curtains dress the windows, bringing the eye up and highlighting the abstract artwork.
After soaking up some sun on the deck, the owners and their kids can cool off in the pool. A blue tiled accent wall with three water fountains makes the space feel even more refreshing.

This den provides a perfect place for the evening wind-down. Anchored by a black sectional sofa, the room features a mix of modern pieces like the Verner Panton throw and the Eames coffee table, and global elements like the romantic wall-covering of gondolas floating in a sea of lanterns.
With sloping ceilings that reach 10 feet at their peak, this neutral master bedroom feels open and spacious. Walls painted Snowbound by Sherwin Williams reflect light and add to the room’s airy design.
This sophisticated guest bedroom, its color palette inspired by the clouds and sky, includes extraordinary amenities including a bar area, walk-in custom closet and ensuite bath. And then there's always the view.
With a corrugated metal roof and large cutouts, this outdoor lounge offers shelter from the afternoon sun and encourages cool breezes. Throw pillows and an area rug in soft, neutral hues help showcase the subtle texture of the structure itself: the brushed concrete, the beams radiating from the built-in fireplace and the unique pattern of the tile flooring.
Neutral cabinets and marble countertops make a classic-and-clean combination in this open kitchen. A patterned backsplash adds a little energy to the room and keeps the space from feeling too monochrome.
Taking advantage of the California weather, a covered porch is the ultimate entertaining space. An outdoor kitchen, complete with grill and smoker, makes cooking outdoors a breeze, while a long, contemporary table is perfect for dining al fresco.
Take pride in your artwork - The bedroom is an easy space in which to introduce lots of textiles. Modern interiors love variety and this riot of print may look as if it was thrown together and just happens to work. In fact, it works for a simple reason: as ever in a busy, hue-heavy scheme, there’s a strict palette at play to maintain order.
